Description: The truly good things in life are a convergence of influences that cannot be replicated, but rather should be savored, cherished, and shared. Such is the Star of Greece. Named after a shipwreck, Star of Greece guests will enjoy Mediterranean style of cuisine with plenty of seafood options, complemented by such dishes as beef fillet, pork, duck and vegetarian options using seasonal fresh produce. The stunning summer turquoise waters of Gulf St. Vincent, the beach and cliffs, the seascapes that change with the seasons, and the history of a Star of Greece shipwreck belong to all who visit. Our passion is to provide a dining experience of exceptional quality that complements this unique and stunningly beautiful part of South Australia's coastline

Visited on a hot day and noticed that the staff were friendly and professional. They maintained a warm relationship with their customers even though they were obviously working in difficult circumstances. Their working conditions were extremely hot and cramped and there was only a fan to move the air. They were very busy and the deck area was to capacity. Only had hot drinks and icecream and this was adequate for a kiosk environment. Others had seafood salad chips etc and wine. Seemed expensive for the serving size but I heard only one complaint about the cost of the wine. The deck had a nice sea breeze but no view of the sea. The staff kept the area clean. Car park looked full but we were able to find a space. Lovely view over the beautif Pt Willunga beach from the car park. Maybe I was expecting more from the Star of Greece than they were able to provide.

Went for a Birthday Dinner Date, in the restaurant, with my 2 teenage daughters on a family holiday. We loved every minute of it. Beautiful scenery, beautiful ambience, beautiful service, beautiful produce, beautiful food. Nathan was fantastic....a credit to the establishment. If I was to give some minor feedback it would be a touch more seasoning and some dressing would further compliment the freshness on the salad with the Schezwan Squid.

Never been before, always wanted to, wasn’t disappointed. It is a classy casual dining experience, sea views so relaxing, and we went on the perfect day to enjoy. I was told it was an expensive fish and chip shop. Disagree. Yes it wasn’t cheap in the restaurant, but the enjoyment was worth what we paid. If you want the fish and chips without the expense there is a large takeaway seating outdoor section at the front. Open at night, but you wouldn’t get the sea front view that compliment the eating experience. Can only rate our experience and that was excellent.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch time here with a group of friends whilst visiting. The location and views are incredible. The food was great (this is not a fine dining experience, but more a relaxing beachside lunch experience) - we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals which ranged from various seafood to Wagyu beef for mains. The service was good - they were very friendly and helpful and tried very hard to make our experience memorable. It was incredibly busy when we first arrived (but gradually eased off through the afternoon), but we were never waiting for long for anything. It was a really memorable afternoon and I will definitely try and visit again.
