Eclectic programme [i.e. some choices are very naff indeed] but the building is lovely. Some staff can be stuffy - come on, guys; it's not the National...............

Only been to this theatre once and saw the Shaolin Warriors, which were great. The theatre itself is very cute, and a perfect size to see and hear everything on the stage. It also has a very nice little bar with easy access to outside.

Richmond Theatre is wonderful, and the best place to see plays and musicals just before they go to the West End, with tickets at half the price. The range of works is brilliant, from Eugene O'Neill to kids summer holiday entertainment to the wonderful Agatha Christie Players who are often here. Keep an eye on the Richmond Theatre for the line-up!

The Richmond Theatre is situated in one corner of Richmond Green. It is an intimate theatre and we enjoyed a great performance of Noel Coward's Brief Lives.

Great evening's entertainment.

I saw the Rising Damp Tour here. It was a great show if you ever get a chance to see it. And this theatre was a lovely venue. It's a good size theatre, obviously smaller than those in the West End (Central London) so a bit more intimate, but still large enough to have an impact. The raking in the stalls was perfect where we were sitting (Row H) so we had no trouble seeing the stage. And it's got a nice atmosphere to it. The staff were helpful.

It's just on the edge of the green so if you fancy a picnic out in the open or just to sit outside, before or after the show, you can do so, although I don't think there are any benches. It's just behind the shops and a short walk from the River Thames, where there are benches, lovely views and places to have a drink or a bite to eat.
