Booked a table here on a Saturday night. The service was good. We had fishcakes and dumplings to start. The dumplings were nice, the fishcakes weren't brilliant. For mains we had green thai chicken curry and another chicken and vegetable dish. Both with rice. The food was lovely and we were both full without finishing it all!
It's not overly cheap, though it's not expensive. I think we paid £30 for 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 soft drinks. Pretty standard really.

Came across this gem by chance when out walking in Richmond. A basic Thai, but the food was very good as was the service. As other reviews have said the loos are a bit basic, but I didnt think they were as bad as described in the other reviews. A good sign was that on a Saturday night they had tables reserved, so I think the locals have cottoned on to a good value place to have an informal meal!

We were looking for somewhere to eat after visiting the local cinema. We arrived at the cafe at 10.30pm, admittedly quite late but within the 11pm closing. However, the staff were all sat around chatting. After a brief discussion, one simply came to the door, turned the sign to 'CLOSED' and locked the door. It wouldn't have been too bad if they had opened the door and explained. But, as it is, we will not be returning. Rude and lacking in style

The food is reasonable in terms of taste and is well priced, and the service was attentive and quick. The place itself is quite basic but if you just want a tasty, cheap meal out without any fuss or frills then this is a good shout.

Interesting place. Nice food although we only had a noodle dish & a pad thai. Cheerful service. Dire loos, worst I've met in years &even worse than those at the sister restaurant, Hammersmith Cafe which says something.

Pleasant dining area at the front upstairs although the extension at the back is very shabby & feels grubby. It all seems a short on heating so maybe not a place to go to on a winter evening. Altogether a mixed bag. On balance I'd probably give it another try for the food rather than the surroundings.
