Went and saw The Stepmother, fantastic performance by all actors and actresses. Very professional set-up, lovely little theatre, best place to be during the cold. Most onlookers are in their 60's to 80's (you can catch them snoozing in the corner) but really it would be for any age who likes the theatre, I definitely enjoyed it and would go again. Only 2 pound 50 pence for a medium glass of wine which you can enjoy during the break.

This is a very special theatre where the audience is in the round and blends into the stage. The plays are fairly unique in London as many are "lost plays" that have been forgotten yet have merit or have been written especially for the Orange Tree. There are no numbered seats.
In winter there can be a draft so dress warmly.

A great place especially for people with disabilities.Very much a community theatre.Every production is in-the-round which is excellent.

We saw several performances here. Not a bad seat in the house and very professional casts and productions. We liked the balcony where you can lean over the rails and look down on the acts. Very reasonable ticket rices, as well!

As far as we can tell, the only permanent and professional theatre in the round in London. It is a very unusual experience to be within touching distance of the cast at the theatre.
Their productions are usualy excellent, including a major dose of fantastic Edwardian comedy which seems to have been completely forgotten by most London theatres. It is really worth the trip unless you are a local like me!
