I went here a couple of days a go for a quick lunch as i did some shopping. The decor is pleasant, clean and has purpose. The service at the bar was quick and attentive, although i have met the barman before so it may not be a fair representation. I ordered a Pint of Doombar and Ribeye steak. The Doombar was pleasant, a little above the temperature it should be, its hard to get doombar wrong. The Ribeye i ordered Medium Rare (as a Ribeye should be) sadly it came out perfectly medium, i hope some mis communication betweek FOH and the Kitchen. The watcress garnish was dry and wilting. The Chips very Fantasticly hot but unseasoned as was the steak. All in all it was an average experience with nothing worth complaining about. I will be giving it another visit in the hope i caught the chef on a bad day.
