Tasty homemade quiches, charming service. Good to support independent places and avoid horrors like Stabucks next door.

We discovered this charming place today, after abandoning the thought of having lunch in Kew Gardens where it was noisy and crowded. We sat in a calm and pleasant room at the back of the café, looking out on the garden. I had the deliciously moist and tasty ' celery and walnut roast with cashew nuts, mixed peppers, mushroom and carrot' that was served with a green salad and dressed beetroot and my friend had the vegetable lasagne, also served with salad, that she too thought was delicious. We ordered at the counter where all the food was on display under glass and an efficient waitress quickly brought us our meal. We would definitely return there. What a good find!

They just do not smile and any form of breakfast is banned at the stroke of midday shame as they do a good (BUT OVERPRICED) breakfast!!!!!!

We had a little snack here whilst visiting the gardens. There isnt much room and it was crowded because it was a cold day and we couldnt picnic. Enjoyed what we had and then browsed in the excellent shop afterwards for souvenirs for friendsback home.

After a wonderful stroll through Kew Gardens, enroute to the train, we were in time for a luncheon setting in the rear glass house. Traditional British veggie and meat pies with salads and scrumptious desserts. The veggie pie plate is enough for two and the lemon meringue pie was heavenly. Reasonable prices for fresh ingredients and home touch bistro food.
