A slightly disappointing first visit to this chain of restaurants: overall the quality resembled a chain pub trying to pull off Thai cuisine at restaurant prices.
For the starter we had the sharing platter for two - a lot of chicken there and slightly bland. Then followed by pad thai (low on prawns and slightly overcooked noodles) and duck in tamarind sauce and coconut rice. Overall the standard was OK, though slightly underwhelming.
My friend ordered the Singapore Sling: a very pink, bubblegum confection which tasted more red bull than gin sling. He left most of it.
Service was friendly and quick to start off with, but faded as the post-rugby crowd started to arrive.
Try to avoid seats near the front - stating the obvious, but they get a lot of cold air from the outside ... though this one was more within our gift to change ...
