Still as good as ever. Scones warm from the oven and proper loose tea. Excellent afternoon tea. We will be back.

“Such Lovely Place”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

We always really look forwards to visiting Tu Hwnt Ir Bont every time we visit Wales. It is such a little gem of a place;the building itself is just beautiful to look at and this is truly the very best Welsh tea room!
Whenever we visit we always make sure that we enjoy the very best that Wales has to offer - the Bara Brith is to die for!
We are already looking forwards to our next visit!

“Cream tea?”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

I have had tea etc here on several previous occasions. The tea they use, which is their own blend, is excellent. This time five of us went for cream teas. Even though it was a beautiful day we decided to sit inside (we did have to wait for 15mins for a table) and enjoy the historic feel. Food and service were both great.

“Very enjoyable cakes”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

Went with my husband after visiting Gwydir Castle. We sat outside which was very pleasant as the tables were all non smoking,we were served by nice polite waitress, the tea was proper tea and the scones which came with plentiful amounts of butter, jam and cream which my husband thoroughly enjoyed,I had the toasted tea cake which was a very large and a hot chocolate with flake and cream which came in a little dish on the side very yummy go on indulge and treat yourself. Would definitely call again if passing.
