We were on a day trip and saw the ad for two for £10 not expecting too much we gave it a try.
The dining room was spotless and the meals were excellent value. The waitress service was second to none.i imagine staying there would be of the same calibre.

I stayed at this hotel a couple of week ago and I've got to admit I was impressed! The room me and my girlfriend stayed in was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and always went above and beyond when we asked for assistance. Highly recommended hotel, will definitely be staying there again.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms get a balcony.

If your looking for a modern, efficient motel with good food and entertainment then this is not for you. At first glance we see a tired old hotel that has not been properly renovated for decades. after you get your Medieval heavy brass keys you are directed upstairs and you get the distinct impression you are going to be living in a "Submarine" for your stay. The push button lights only last a minute if you can find them in the corridors which are barley 3 ft wide. After you enter your dark room there is barely enough room to take your clothes off! Don't stay here if you are obese! I often wonder if this was where they held the prisoners bound for Botany bay in the days of yore? The only good points was waiting to see a mess up every day at the dining room. The chef was a loud bad tempered brute by all appearances, another man who sat across from us at meal times who I thought was a guest is also a the resident guitar player at night, he never spoke just smiled and only pretended to play the guitar. Few of the waitresses or waiters could speak proper English and it took one guest 10 minutes to get a tumbler for his wine, as the eastern European waitresses and barman came back with wine glasses, pint glasses etc; until he went to the bar himself and got one. Great laugh on my part though, I took it in my stride and enjoyed Weston super mare. So to finish if you are seeking a real Fawlty towers experience then this may not be far off the mark!

Room Tip: They keep a wolf or something in the beer keg area which we were directly above (room 11) and it kep...

I stayed in this hotel with a coach tour for six days, and it was a bit of a nightmare. The owner's dog barked all night as he was left outside directley under our bedroom which was room 11.Everytime i tryed to sleep he would bark and wake me. I complained but not much was done till the last night of our stay when i managed to speak to the owner and i presume he brought the dog in doors that night. This hotel is very out dated cramped and showers were a nightmare as you would have to be a child to fit in them properley. Food was ok, but not the best.

I have just spent a week at this hotel. The food was excellent, they certainly have a chef and not just a cook. The staff were very friendly, greeting us each evening and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were small especially the bathroom but that was the only negative bit and they was very clean. It was a pleasure to sit in their beautiful front garden which they have won an award for. I would definately recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front with a lovely sea view.

I have been to this hotel a couple of times before and it's very nice and friendly. I found the rooms nice and clean and I thoroughly enjoyed the food served there. I liked the bar alot too, lots of variety to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful for everything within the hotel. I recommend this place to family and friends alike, who want nice a break in this very family orientated establishment.
