Our party of five was originally booked to eat at Michelangelo's, however, poor service lead us to leave without even ordering. I have eaten many times at the Mask of Venice over the years and thoroughly enjoy it every time, so I recommended it to the group. We walked across town after a quick phonecall to make sure they could accomodate us and luckily they could. We arrived to banners on the table to mark the occasion and ordered drinks with no problem (the issue which drove us away from our original destination).
Food was fantastic, with accomodations made for my fussiness, and delivered promptly by attentive waitresses. Wonderful atmosphere (hopefully we didn't disturb the other tables too much, what can I say we're an excitable bunch).
Paolo came over to check we were all happy, which he often does and is a very nice personal touch.
Pleasantly surprised with the bill, the two course for £10.90 deal is such good value for money and unlike other places does not give you limited poor quality meals.
I will return as always and was delighted to hear others in my party who had never been before enjoyed themselves so much and were strongly considering visiting again! Thanks again Jo and Paolo for another very wonderful evening!!
