Linden Lodge Bed & Breakfast
Reviewed October 31, 2013

My wife and I stated two nights in October. We were met by the friendly owner Phil. I was shown where to park, as previously arranged, and we were given a spotlessly clean and comfortable room on the first floor. Breakfast choice was amazing. All cooked produce is locally sourced. Homemade bread and yoghurts, even the butter was moulded to reflect the season! The attention to detail was incredible. We were given a list of restaurants in the area and nothing was too much trouble. There was even fresh milk in the fridge upstairs for your room tea and coffee. It is impossible to fault this B&B and We can strongly recommend that you stay if you are ever in Weston. Parking is the only area which could be problematic at busy periods but Phil said "there is always a way"! First class. Thanks Phil and Wendy.

Based on our growing experience we booked this B&B based on the reviews of others and were not at all disappointed with our choice. Phil, Wendy and Poppy (the dog) made us feel very welcome from the moment we entered the door, making us feel very much at home. Our room - the luxury room - was huge, but very homely and comfortable, which made our stay even that much more enjoyable. A cooked breakfast each morning, with homemade yoghurt, bread and spreads, also ensured a good start to the day and kept us going well into mid-afternoon. Phil and Wendy were great hosts, helped us with our site-seeing plans each day and ensured we left with great memories of our stay. There 4 star AA rating is more than well deserved and would stay here again in a heart beat.

Room Tip: A great central location to most attractions within the area.

Really friendly guest house, rooms generous size and well equipped. There was a good choice for breakfast and the food was lovely. If you need parking remember to book a space because if you don't parking nearby could be difficult.

We stayed at Linden Lodge for 3 nights. There are 5 rooms and 3 parking spaces but having requested, we were guaranteed a space. Phil and Wendy greeted us warmly on arrival and introduced us to Poppy, the Spaniel, who believes all guests have come to visit her. Unfortunately, as dog lovers, we only saw her again on departure, as she is not allowed in public areas.
Our lovely room (1) was very spacious, with bay window seating, a very comfortable double bed (plus a single), an abundance of drawers and wardrobe, an en-suite bathroom with all mod cons with many "extra little touches".
Breakfast, cooked by Phil, includes many home grown and locally sourced ingredients and hearty enough to keep us through to the evening.
Linden Lodge is about 1/2 mile from centre in a residential area with many other guest houses. Nearby local shops and a good real ale pub (The Waverley) are within 5 minutes walk.
We enjoyed our short break in Weston-super-Mare and were extremely impressed with Linden Lodge and the effort that Phil and Wendy put into it to make it well worthy of its 4 star rating.
We recommend this guest house to all and hope to return.

Room Tip: Go for room 1. It is worth the little extra.

I have been staying at this B&B every year for the past 5 years (maybe more) and we absolutely love it! Never ever stay anywhere else in Weston unless they are full!
Rooms are lovely, so clean and fresh, and very tastefully decorated!
Breakfast is awesome and the home made bread is sooo good! Yummy yummy!
Can't fault anything about it!
Owners Phil & Wendy are the loveliest people you will meet as is Poppy the resident pooch - gorgeous!
Highly recommend staying here, you will love it!

Wendy and Philip have been wonderful hosts. They have been friendly and helpful for everything we needed during our stay. The guest house is cute, clean and tidy with lots of attention to details. In particular they serve a delicious breakfast with home made bread and yogurt. The guest house is located in a strategic position: close to the railway station, a bus stop and the seaside too. The centre of Weston is 10 minutes walk. For sure we recommend it!

Just spent 4 nights at this 4 star guest house, room was top class, the owners Wendy & Phil couldn't be more obliging. The breakfast menu was varied and plentiful with home made breads, jams, yogurts included.
It is situated 10 minutes walking distance to the town centre and pier
We would certainly recommend this guest house for a break at Weston Super Mare.
