We were visiting Cornwall for a relations wedding and decided to stay for the week , 5 adults and 2 toddlers. Thyme cottage matched our needs all the way. Close to the wedding venue, not too far from any attractions, lovely countryside. Well equipped cottage with great garden for the children. Mike , Kay , be my and Dogs were superb. Made sure we were settled in and comfortable and offered assistance if required. cottage on 2 floors, 3 bedrooms down stairs, child gate to keep wandering toddlers safe ! We were able to visit both the south coast of corn wall and a visit to Port Issac in the north were no more than 20 to 55 minutes away. Also c 30 minutes from the Eden Project made it an ideal base for us. Thank you Mike Kay Becky and dogs we had a lovely time

Out in the middle of Cornish fields, really picturesque. Thyme Cottage is one of three converted cottages on a farm. As such, it's a little dark inside, but very comfortable. The outside areas are wonderful. The views are incredible. Mike and Kay were both really nice to us and always happy to help. Lots of dogs wandering around, but they were well trained and very friendly. One thing, do remember to bring towels with you, we assumed they would be provided, which they are but only at a cost. A very peaceful week. Very happy to have stayed.

Owners were very accommodating and went to great lengths to ensure our needs were met. Perfect accommodation for the extended family especially children, ours ranged from 2 to 77 and having an en suite bedroom on the same level as the living room was a bonus. Very centrally placed and if like us you wouldn't feel that stopping and starting for 5 hours on the M5 could be in anyway considered "normal holiday traffic" as local traffic reports repeatedly suggested when there are so many equally beautiful places to visit in this country without that problem it is an ideal base to chose for a once in a lifetime visit.

A beautiful, quiet location for a family holiday. Everything you could want, in terms of kitchen goods. Lovely modern, comfortable beds and contemporary cottage decor.
Friendly welcome and delicious cream tea on arrival from the owners (who live on site) & their lovely, well-behaved dogs.
N.B: No guest dogs to be left alone at the property at any time, but very welcome with their owners.

For a second time we visited Lower Trengale Cottages near Liskeard, and had a wonderful weekend. On this occasion we stayed in "Thyme" cottage - interesting layout on three levels. Very clean, comfortable and well fitted out. Only two of us, but this would be ideal for a small family. Again, we found Kay & Mike very hospitable and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our trips to Polperro and Tintagel - both short drives from the cottages, and very impressive.
No hesitation in recommending this well managed accommodation!

From the moment we arrived, when we were greeted with a Cornish Cream Tea, we were made to feel very welcome by the owners (Mike & Kay). Thyme cottage was larger than our need (only 3 guests plus dog) but was ideal for my wife's mother as her bedroom & bathroom was only down a couple of steps. The other bedrooms & bathrooms were in the downstairs so may not be so good for those with mobility problems. The bonus of downstairs was that it was cooler than the rest of the cottage which was very welcome as we holidayed when it was very hot !! Mike & Kay were attentive throughout our stay, without being overly so, and recommended places to go and where to eat. We'd certainly advise a meal at the London Inn (in St. Neot) and further afield (25 miles or so) at the Slipway hotel in Port Isaac. The cottage had all the mod cons you'd expect without losing it's character. Could maybe benefit from a larger TV in the lounge and provision of towels (to save on luggage). There's a nice pond (for those wanting to fish or dog exercise) on the farm or a few miles away is the picturesque Golitha falls - an ideal place to sit & read or dip your feet in the river. There's plenty to do & see in this part of Cornwall and it's not far to the North Coast for a change of scenery. Would definitely consider renting here again if coming back to Cornwall.
