“Scrumptious snack wagon with local organic food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 9, 2014 via mobile

Highly recommended - the best snack wagon ever! We had locally sourced Buffalo burgers (from a herd of water buffalo in the peaks) in fresh white rolls for £4.10 each - absolutely delicious. Watching Colin work on his own serving up fresh tasty burgers, bacon rolls, hommity pie, parkin and custard is amazing. Tea was as good as I make it at home. Polite service. Make a special stop or seek it out on a walk through the forest.

“Excellent snack wagon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2014 via mobile

This has to be the best mobile snack wagon anywhere! Homemade cakes, bacon butties, buffalo burgers, cakes and custard, homemade beef burgers. You can have your bacon butty in a roll or an oatcake. There is nothing like having a good walk or bike ride through the forest then treating yourself to some lovely food from Nice-Nosh. The prices are reasonable and the cook is very friendly. It is a great place to stop for a snack.

“Exceptional”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2013

What a surprise to find this catering trailer in Macclesfield forest. Lovely teas and coffee and delicious bacon and egg or sausage sandwiches. Excellent burgers, both beef and buffalo, I think the beef ones are home made. The trailer is spotless, and John, the proprietor is friendly and helpful. There is usually something delicious on the specials board, and the home made cake is lovely. No trip to Macclesfield Forest is complete without a visit to Nice Nosh. It should have a Michelin star. It is also exceptional value for money.

“Ideal post walk grub”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2013

This small trailer at the Macclesfield Forest visitors centre serves great Oatcakes with Bacon or Sausage, ideal after a long walk. Also serves lovely coffee. Most food is sourced locally, and the coffee is fair trade

“Nice Nosh - Macclesfield Forest”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2013

Ideally located in the heart of the forest next to the visitor centre - Nice Nosh provides hearty and tasty snacks and drinks to walkers, cyclists and those out and about enjoying the fresh air at weekends. We have been regulars since stumbling on the the place a couple of years ago. I enjoy the bacon baps while my wife has a thing for the hot puddings, (home made) - both ideal at this time of year. John Sellors, the owner, also knows the area well and is happy to share his knowledge of walks and routes through the woods. He sources his food locally and ethically which is great to see and a nice touch is that he provides mats for his customers to use while enjoying their food.
