The rooms are small, T.V is really small, showroom needs a face lift. bins were emptied but left plastic bags to go in, towels were re-used and didn't have new sheets for the 3 night stay. Kettle was really hard to get under the tap! you could fill but as you tip to get from under the tap you lost most of the water!

just spent two nights here with my teenage son . small issues with cleaner not putting out clean towels , mugs. the staff member Vince went above and beyond to sort us out as soon as I told him. small problem with a noisy group on a conference being noisy slamming doors when they returned from the pub also. on a positive note 2 min from station and town. five pubs within a mins walk. pizza hut two doors down, a cheap café next door open at 7am. would defo stay again but not on ground floor. in the mornings had a chat wit Lea another friendly member of staff.

Room Tip: dont staff on ground floor near to reception, as people come and go to smoke and use the vending machines in the foyer.

Spent one night here and it was fine. Extremely clean and the business floor was very quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. At the end of the day, it's a travelodge, but it's a good one. Ideal for the train station as well. No breakfast though but lovely little cafe next door. We'll stay again.

The staff were efficient. The hotel was clean. The price was good. The room was clean and tidy. There is car parking right opposite although payment is needed after 6pm and it's next to the railway but with closed windows it did not bother us. I would recommend this hotel
