Recommended length of visit: 1-2 hours
Owner description: Pickie Fun Park was extensively redeveloped in 2012. Children can play in the adventure playground, enjoy the watery fun of the splash pads, enjoy a ride on the electric car track or climb aboard the Pickie Puffer for a narrow-gauge railway journey around the colourful landscape. All the family can pedal a giant Swan around the shallow waters of the lovely Lagoon, compete with each other in our mini golf course or take a break in the cafe. The fun park is at the gateway to the Marine Gardens, a delightful stretch of coast for leisurely walks. There are panoramic views of Bangor Bay and the hills of Antrim beyond. Just take a seat, relax and marvel at the wonders all around, or eat your picnic before making your way round to Wilson's Point. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the views over Belfast Lough.

“strange pricing and very variable”
Reviewed August 9, 2014

Pickie varies very much from day to day if the suns out its great but with even a spot of rain suddenly nothings open its all packed away - not much good for holiday makers. The girls at the ticket place seem very flustered and confused don't always seem to know what they are doing. The strange thing is for 2 adults and 2 kids to play golf its £10 but for 2 adults and 1 kid its £12 and if you only have 1 child you are not offered the cheaper family option which is a bit unfair. other than that its always clean and tidy, has plenty of toilets and on a nice day has lots to do,

“Pickie”
Reviewed August 2, 2014

My kids love the pickie puffer and the disco ducks. It is not cheap so look out for the bundles and offers that are good deal. If you can get there early or later you might avoid the crowds and day trippers. A must for any visitor to Bangor with small children

“Fun Family day out. ....:)”
Reviewed August 2, 2014

We took our visitors with their six year old son down to Pickie.... He loved it ... They were happy - we couldn't have asked for more.
Family ticket for the crazy golf was extended with a fifth club for us all to play and go round together ... Thank you. The crazy golf was extremely well thought out and really used the seaside when naming each of the holes.
I thought the Zorba balloon in the huge water pool was a tad expensive at £4.00 butt he six year old was WELL occupied for good five minutes allowing us oldies to take a very necessary rest.
Next up was the climbing frames until he spotted the water fountains and luckily the sun had come out as he was very quickly soaked and Mum was despatched to get a towel and change of clothes.
All in all a grand day out!

“Good day out”
Reviewed July 31, 2014 via mobile

We visited with two young and two older kids. Something for everyone. Swans were a favourite with younger kids zorbing with older ones. Reasonable prices. Great location next to the marina. Was a bit surprised it closed so early.
