Really nice walks in the park; lots of paths and sea walk. Very nice cafe in the park. The trails are colour coded so easy to navigate and find your way. Plenty of free car parking available.

This is a really beautiful place for a walk beside the sea. The paths are in good condition and it is possible to walk all the way to Bangor Marina in about an hour, or longer if you take time to relax on the many benches which are along the route. The views out over Belfast Lough are lovely and you can watch the ferries and boats etc Walking in the other direction is also very good and leads to the beach at Helen's Bay and beyond. The cafe/visitor centre is also very good and a great asset to this location. The variety of food is very good and the coffee is really nice. The staff are very friendly and obliging too. There is a large terrace where you can eat and drink while enjoying the scenery. The only way to improve this location is to have the cafe open later, until the park closes, as visitors would enjoy having refreshments, or a reviving drink, following an evening walk. Highly recommended!

We recently visited crawfordsburn as a family to go for a walk. We found it a very traumatic experience given the amount of dogs running off their leads. Having small children it was a very frightening experience as on one occasion a dog jumped up on our three year old. When owner was asked to out the dog on a lead he retorted that we should put our children on a lead. It's a pity that there was not more control taken with regards to enforcing the law with regards to having dogs own leads because otherwise this is a lovely area.

Cafe is lovely with friendly staff and is very clean.

The park was beautiful in the crisp autumn sunshine and was large enough to allow plenty of exploration. The best thing about the park is that you get forest and beach walks. The only minus is that the paths/routes are not so well signposted for strangers to the area. Would highly recommend it.
