“Lovely quiet retreat”
Reviewed November 15, 2017 for a stay in November 2017

A lovely place to stay for a few days . Very basic and you do need to take everything with you! The cabin is up a very steep road so coming and going is a bit of a challenge especially for someone like me ha ha!
Having said that the owners do give good warning about that. An earlier arrival time would be appreciated in winter months before it gets dark I think.
The cabin was lovely and warm and had great views! A real treat! Great oven for cooking meals but the hob we gave up on.
Short drive into the lovely Aberdovey - quaint shops and tea rooms.
On the whole we had a lovely , relaxing few days and I would recommend.

“Basic bungalow ,fantastic views, great location, we had a blast!”
Reviewed September 4, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Aberdovey is about 3 miles from the bungalow, it has the best beach! With some fab dunes. Lovely little town with shops, ice-cream, chippy, pub everything for a sunny day. The bungalow is up a very steep hill unfortunately the road is dreadful.... I have been a few times and nothing has been done to make the hill climb any better. I was terrified to park my car so left a brick under the tyre. The bungalow was a good size and fine for somewhere to sleep, very basic could do with a little bit of TLC. We stayed out all day so had a blast anyway we decided to name it 'Our love shack' and made jokes when we showered in the yellow water. I would like to see the bungalows tidied up, painted, some time spent to keep it looking a bit more welcoming. We had a great time although dreaded driving up the steep hills and bends.

“Great retreat”
Reviewed September 10, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Would definitely stay again great place very clean lovely views. The cottage was high up in the hills very steep road make sure you have a descent car otherwise not a chance you will be getting to your retreat . The only downside is if you have bad weather not much to do.
