the bungalow was clean and comfortable inside. The bed linen was clean but basic but no pillowcases were provided. The outside was rather grubby and the decking badly cracked in places. The view from the living room was very obscured by large trees. If we stayed at the site again we would choose a bungalow higher up for a better view. although the road is very steep up and in poor condition. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and the weather was beautiful and the scenery as always fantastic.

“Gorgeous get away”

I was looking for a quiet, inexpensive family get away. I came across this bungalow by accident. Glad we did. We arrived to a very clean, well maintained bungalow, with a gorgeous view from the deck of the rolling hills and Eastry. The sun rises in the morning on that side so it's glorious if you like simple things like that. The rooms are small but hey, your only sleeping there. The lack of mobile signal forced us to take park in actual family time, reading, board games(provided) and interactive verbal conversation with my teenager! Bonus. The water is from a spring or well so not clear, which you are told about. So bring bottled water. The kitchen has all the stuff, microwave, dishwasher, etc. The town of Aberdovey is like 7 min away. The town is beautiful but car parking is £££. The bungalow and beach are dog friendly. The road to the bungalow us impressively steep, so be aware. Our Yaris made it up and down so it's no big deal.we hope to visit there again. A beautiful part of the country. **the parks maintenance guy is super nice and funny** There is also a dog walk on the upper level of the park. Really beautiful.

The property can be reached from the road by driving up a hill .The hill maybe steep but its no problem for cars . .Its a lovely cabin with all your needs provided for..The location is so tranquil and you are assured a quiet stay. Wild life all around you.
Fantastic views from the top and a great dog walk through fields .Aberdovey is a short distance away and ever so dog friendly. The sandy beach is a dream,
This is the third time we have been staying here and I can honestly say we all love it.

“dont bother with the pics total false impresion stay at your own peril!!”

Where do i start. Road to the chalet so pot holed you need a 4x4 to get there or a hovercraft would be a good choice!!!. The water is brown and toxic i would think, certainly not drinkable and it would be at your own risk to wash in it, a shower would not be advisable. There is a bath but what use it would be what with the brown water and the time it would take to fill it up with the rubbish boiler fitted!!. The double bedroom is so small you can hardly get into bed unless you are 6 stone soaking wet. Several light bulbs blew in the property 1 in the living room not really a big deal and one that blew in the twin room showering sparks over my 90 yr old dad, that was not received well i can tell you. The guttering front and back were so stuffed full of leaves they overflowed on a daily basis ,the outside window cills were filthy and had not been cleaned for at least a few years balistrades to the, decking to the rear of the chalet was rotten and in my opinion in a dangerous condition and with a 10 foot fall into the bushes this would not create a good outcome if one fell through.Decking itself would benefit from a jet wash to prevent slipping, also quite dangerous. Wife has come home with a rash up her arm god only knows what that is from. This property has a 4* rating, must be a few back handers flying somewhere. TRIP ADVISER WOULD DO WELL TO STOP ADVERTISING THIS PROPERTY.

How easy was it to book the property? How helpful were the directions to the property?

Management Response
Oct 6, 2016
Dear Mr Duffill
Thank you for your 'flattering review' strange how for the last 3 years this bungalow has maintained many 4/5 star reviews yet you arrive and it gets a 1?
We can confirm that at no time was your problems bought to our attention or our Agents, the Bungalow has not changed its bedroom sizes indeed besides interior decorating and new furniture nothing has changed, how dare you say 'dont bother with the pics total false impresion stay at your own peril!!
You booked the smallest bungalow at the cheapest cost, the bungalow is rated 4* by the Welsh Toursit Board and your accusation that the 'Welsh Tourist Board is taking back handers' has been passed on to their Legal Advisors.
Your review is a complete farce which goes together with replies given to our booking agent who contacted you yesterday to find out what had happened
They were met with replies from you and I quote
' lets end this here as you are so not getting my point. I will take down the post if i can and see what i can do to further inform customers to STEER CLEAR. Kindest regards lol x '
Why the Kiss? is it all a joke to you, seems it?

A further reply from you
' I was going to take my post down but now it stays and if that damages reputations so be it as far as i can see there is no one looking out for the customer and the "Oh well any sh*t will do as long as we are making our commission has to end. " Hope you have a great evening and your next holiday is one full of joy and fortune for you.?
How dare you respond this way when our agent was being courteous and trying to help ?
If you had reported the alleged problems then they could have been dealt with immediately by the Agent
For your information
The Water art times can be discoloured - this is advised on any advert and your booking confirmations The water is NOT toxic in any way shape or form and has regular tests carried out by Welsh Water, it has a clean bill of health
The boiler works perfectly OK and has done since it was installed, light bulbs can blow at any time?
Maintenance is carried out on the bungalow on a regular basis which includes the decking, not sure why you would want to break down a balustrade and jump 10 feet as surely the patio /balcony area is big enough for clients to enjoy?
The Bungalow is the smallest of all of our bungalows and only sleeps 4 persons as advertised, the bed is a standard double bed the same whether you are 4 feet tall or 6 feet tall, perhaps if you are particularly small or large you should have asked the question prior to booking?
All in all i think that the review is unfair of this property and the allegations and sarcasm made are uncalled for
We will let our future clients decide???
