the bungalow was clean and comfortable inside. The bed linen was clean but basic but no pillowcases were provided. The outside was rather grubby and the decking badly cracked in places. The view from the living room was very obscured by large trees. If we stayed at the site again we would choose a bungalow higher up for a better view. although the road is very steep up and in poor condition. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and the weather was beautiful and the scenery as always fantastic.
I was looking for a quiet, inexpensive family get away. I came across this bungalow by accident. Glad we did. We arrived to a very clean, well maintained bungalow, with a gorgeous view from the deck of the rolling hills and Eastry. The sun rises in the morning on that side so it's glorious if you like simple things like that. The rooms are small but hey, your only sleeping there. The lack of mobile signal forced us to take park in actual family time, reading, board games(provided) and interactive verbal conversation with my teenager! Bonus. The water is from a spring or well so not clear, which you are told about. So bring bottled water. The kitchen has all the stuff, microwave, dishwasher, etc. The town of Aberdovey is like 7 min away. The town is beautiful but car parking is £££. The bungalow and beach are dog friendly. The road to the bungalow us impressively steep, so be aware. Our Yaris made it up and down so it's no big deal.we hope to visit there again. A beautiful part of the country. **the parks maintenance guy is super nice and funny** There is also a dog walk on the upper level of the park. Really beautiful.
Wonderful spot with great views over the estuary . A very clean and tidy bungalow . Dog friendly . Close to Aberdovey which is lovely . Great beaches etc
The property can be reached from the road by driving up a hill .The hill maybe steep but its no problem for cars . .Its a lovely cabin with all your needs provided for..The location is so tranquil and you are assured a quiet stay. Wild life all around you.
Fantastic views from the top and a great dog walk through fields .Aberdovey is a short distance away and ever so dog friendly. The sandy beach is a dream,
This is the third time we have been staying here and I can honestly say we all love it.
Where do i start. Road to the chalet so pot holed you need a 4x4 to get there or a hovercraft would be a good choice!!!. The water is brown and toxic i would think, certainly not drinkable and it would be at your own risk to wash in it, a shower would not be advisable. There is a bath but what use it would be what with the brown water and the time it would take to fill it up with the rubbish boiler fitted!!. The double bedroom is so small you can hardly get into bed unless you are 6 stone soaking wet. Several light bulbs blew in the property 1 in the living room not really a big deal and one that blew in the twin room showering sparks over my 90 yr old dad, that was not received well i can tell you. The guttering front and back were so stuffed full of leaves they overflowed on a daily basis ,the outside window cills were filthy and had not been cleaned for at least a few years balistrades to the, decking to the rear of the chalet was rotten and in my opinion in a dangerous condition and with a 10 foot fall into the bushes this would not create a good outcome if one fell through.Decking itself would benefit from a jet wash to prevent slipping, also quite dangerous. Wife has come home with a rash up her arm god only knows what that is from. This property has a 4* rating, must be a few back handers flying somewhere. TRIP ADVISER WOULD DO WELL TO STOP ADVERTISING THIS PROPERTY.
