I came here to have a drink in the afternoon. The balcony was packed so we sat down downstairs. The atmosphere is quite friendly and apparently locals come to have a drink there, too. There was a flat screen tv where sports matches are shown. Altogether a friendly pub with very mixed guests, quite pleasant altogether.

I paid extra for the seaview room and it was well worth it. The room is large, up to date; very comfortable and clean. The view is stunning - well worth the extra money - beautiful and peaceful although I was lucky with the weather. The team running it are friendly and not intrusive. I would definitely rebook.

The food is good and plentiful and if you stay there you get a good table. I would definitely recommend the desserts. The food is more than reasonably priced.

Having been there before expected good experience for birthday meal with family. On arrival told there could be a little wait, no problem, but after 1 hour drinking luke warm luke warm white wine, feeling a tad hungary. Food arrived not exactley as ordered but good. Plates colleceted by manager who some time later offered pudding menu then sat down with other customers who were obviously more important than we were for about 10 minutes, not acceptable, asked for bill at bar, payed then left after managers poor apology as to service. Sorry wont be recomending this pub again even if Michael Winner did some years ago. Very disopointed this evenening, guess I'll be using Seabreeze all the time, good food, good service, sorry excellent service.

My husband and I ate here on a moderately busy Sunday night. Although we hadn't booked, the two members off staff that were on were extremely polite and friendly and accommodated us without an issue. The food was superb. After perusing the menu, My husband had the sirloin steak cooked to perfection and I had the haddock and chips, which was incredible! Be warned though, the portions are BIG!! They also had a great selection of wines by the glass as well as beer's. the Brit ale is a must for any beer drinker. The two waiting on staff (Beth and Marc, I heard them calling each other) were always helpful and happy to help and seemed to really get on and were always laughing along with each other - so great to see staff actually enjoying each others company. Makes the experience even better. It was worth every penny. Will definitely be returning!

Spent three nights recently at the Britannia Inn. The staff are really good, helpful and friendly people. I had three evening meals and three breakfasts here. Restaurant has views of harbour and a balcony to sit on with a drink.... lovely. The food was spot on, not fancy just well presented proper meals at good value prices. The place seemed to be used by both holiday makers, day trippers and locals alike, surely a sign of a well run establishment if you can keep the local customers while dealing with the visitors.

There are 3 rooms. The largest has the view of the harbour but is located above the restaurant so may suffer from noise from below at times. The other two rooms are further back in the building. I had room 2 it had windows onto the side street below with a partial view of the harbour. The room was well appointed, reasonable size with ensuite bathroom which was good size, spotless with power shower and wash basin & toilet. Room 3 was further back and had level access out onto a back street rather than using stairs and going through pub to get out if preferred. All rooms are double or twin but can be booked for single occupancy.

Overall excellent value for money pub accommodation in an extremely attractive seaside location. The manager, Hamish and his staff have made this Inn a great place to visit.

Room Tip: See review best view is Room 1.

Came here for some dinner and the food was reasonably priced and good quality.
Went back this time for drinks only and there is a lively atmosphere in the main bar, lot's of locals methinks which is a great thing!

We always joke about the people who sit outside on the top balcony, who are they and how did they get there?! Will be exploring that option at a future opportunity!

Spent 1 night at the britannia inn in aberdovey, had a perfect room overlooking the estuary, the room was exceptionally clean and cosy and had all the facilities you could need. Ate in the restaurant on saturday evening. Food was incredible 'especially the mushroom starter', staff and service excellent, polite, friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. A very good atmosphere on the evening. I would highly recommend the Britannia to anyone who is visiting Aberdovey and will definately be visiting again!

Room Tip: Room 1 has the best view as it faces the front of the hotel. The shower is excellent - I want one!
