This was an excellent experience for the children. There is an area where you see and hear life onboard the ship. There is a lovely coffee shop and of course the Trinkamalee - a good day out.

A site of national importance with its restored historic sailing vessels & quayside buildings. See comments on the Trincomalee.

Used Tesco vouchers yet again. A very entertaining and imfortmative visit, enjoyed by all the family especially the demonstration of the cannon and guns being fired.

Went on the train. But there is plenty of parking places. We walked around to the quay. Lovely walk around. There are plenty of restraunts and coffee places. Walked to the bridge where the monkey is hanging. Causes bit of a giggle to see it there. Walked back to the shops. Harbour quay can look around and see the boats. Great place for children and also great for wheelchairs. brilliant would go again.

Very informative museum giving you an insight into the fishing and exploration and slave trade. The hardships on board etc. Well laid out around the harbour, also close at hand and worth a visit is the Hartlepool Headland.
