“Fantastic day out for the whole family”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2012

This was an excellent day out of all the family. Lots to interest the adults while at the same time lots to keep the little ones entertained. The "Fighting Ships" A/V display was worth the visit by itself, and the ship itself has been beautifully restored. Probably the best family day out in the north east.

An authentic craft that has been lovingly restored. Well worth a visit provided you don't want entertaining.

“A lovely attraction”

Wasn't sure what to expect but this is a superbly restored ship that you can actually have a good look around unlike many others where so much is out of bounds.

“Superb and complete”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2012

This is easily equal (in quality, if not fame) to going round the Victory - especially the access to the smaller areas - the surgeons cabin, the joiners workshop (he must have worked bent double) and the powder magazine.

Its a great place for children, and a lot less comfortable for 6 foot high adults :-)

“Pirates of the North East.”

This vessel was re-constructed in Hartlepool, from being an old wreck. Its worth a visit to see how good that its been restored.
