What a great shop to wander round and let the memories flood back. Totally authentic. Treat yourself to something as a treat from Frinton.

We always pop into Art Deco antiques when we visit Frinton - but whilst it has some very lovely Deco items they are top dollar. I have managed to buy a couple of items over the years - but most are well out of my price range. Still the best place outside of London to get authentic Deco collectables.

I love this shop. It's a real gem on Connaught Avenue. Beautifully kept and such an interesting array of items. I have also performed outside (singing) during the Queen's birthday celebrations in June this year. Chris and co who run the shop are fabulous.

We discovered this wonderful shop several years ago and have bought many gifts here, for ourselves and for others. Opening the door you step into another era which reflects the period in Frinton's history when there were plans to build streets full of beautiful sparkling white art deco seaside homes (some of those still exist and are worth a look). The shop is packed with ceramics, jewellery (some especially made for the business and not available elsewhere), furniture, clothing, telephones, art deco figures, pictures and much, much more. Every time you go there is something new to tempt you. It certainly is not one of those dusty old establishments where items have been hanging around for months and years. The owner is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his stock. If you visit in the winter (this is our 'go to' store for Christmas shopping) you will find a welcoming real fire and music of the period to enhance your shopping experience. On a visit to Frinton do not miss this wonderful store.
