Nice stay here...staff were absolutely brilliant,and friendly, we would definitely stay again..only thing what bug me was the hallway light shinning through the window above the bedroom door. Great atmosphere in the pub...loved the place.

Excellent hotel, great staff, esp. Derek & Lesley (hopefully got your names right). Looked after us and made my Parents 60th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY a day to remember. Enjoyed the after hours with my two brothers and their other halves xx

Hello, and may i say that your comments are noticed, but i would like to say that we are new owners as from the 1st of november 2018, we have now taken some new pictures and also had a massive clean up, but we are still upgrading as we speak and the hotel has a warmer atmosphere now with a new breakfast menu and a new evening meal menu and a brighter look in the making, i do hope that you will return and give us a chance to put things right for your stay, looking forward to seeing you again the the future, kindest regards Grace--- owner

Some of the reviews of this hotel are very very harsh and not at all fair. Yes the hotel is a little dated but it's a budget hotel so if you want a spa bath and chandeliers then pay premium prices!

My husband and I stayed 1 night on the way down to a wedding in Wales. When we arrived the hotelier was waiting at the front of the hotel for us. We were showed to our room which had a big bay window and loveky views of the bay.

The room was a bit dated and shabby chic but was perfectly clean and the bed was comfortable. It was very quiet (think we were the only guests) but we had everything we needed for 1 night.

Morecambe itself is past its hey day I think, but we did take a wander down the promenade to the town (5 mins walk), there were a few shops, pubs and eateries and we got delicious fish and chips from a chippy round the corner.

All in all, it was absolutely fine for what we paid for it.

My sisters and I booked into this hotel in June of this year and after seeing the accommodation left very disappointed in the state of the decor, the size of the room and the lack of toileteries. We complained to the management and to the booking site through which we booked. After much to and froing I got my money back.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights,while entering the front door you are hit by a very musty smell, our double room was basic,carpet had stains,bedside light didn't work, dressing table had cigarette burns on it, place was dusty, only half a roll of toilet roll, no toiletries,going down to breakfast we had to knock on dining room door to get in, was opened by man who looked rough like he just got out of bed, tables not set up for breakfast and not asked what we wanted, after a long wait for food to be cooked we were just set down a plate of food, tea/coffee by a machine and make your own toast. The bar was very small and badly run, it had run out of wine and some beers had run outtoo, it seemed one man was doing every job, barman/DJ/reception, this is a very badly run hotel and we can safely say we would not stay here again.
