We live locally and visit the park frequently. Even though its winter there's still plenty to do. We walked the dog all around the park, stopping off to let kids let off steam. First stop was the large adventure play area at back of park. They love it...the swings, the rope slide and the cup swing being the fave. Then off to the wildlife area to look in amazement at the ice(who said kids always need money spending on them!). Then a quick pedal on the bike to get the waterfall working. On the way back the kids stopped to watch the people on the bowling green before we went to the cafe for food. The tables outside are perfect for people with dogs too. While I sat with my tea, the kids went onto the new crazy golf. A great day out which resulted in three tired out children and one sleepy dog-perfect!
