We live locally and visit the park frequently. Even though its winter there's still plenty to do. We walked the dog all around the park, stopping off to let kids let off steam. First stop was the large adventure play area at back of park. They love it...the swings, the rope slide and the cup swing being the fave. Then off to the wildlife area to look in amazement at the ice(who said kids always need money spending on them!). Then a quick pedal on the bike to get the waterfall working. On the way back the kids stopped to watch the people on the bowling green before we went to the cafe for food. The tables outside are perfect for people with dogs too. While I sat with my tea, the kids went onto the new crazy golf. A great day out which resulted in three tired out children and one sleepy dog-perfect!

Although in the depths of winter it is clear that this is a well cared for park. My wife used to come here is a child and the visit brought back fond memories for her

After years of Lancaster council neglecting the park,it has improved things in the last few.The splash park is very popular as is the new play area which replaced the little used pitch and put. A new feature is a great crazy golf cause. The play areas for small children are good, toiled felicities have been modernised. However the old Japanese gardens though some improvements by volunteers could do with more work done. The old tennis courts could do with refurbishing, and the cafe is a little expensive. But all in all very popular with my grandchildren, and other local people as well as visitors to Morecambe.

This is a park that we visit a good few times per year - my daughter has come to this park since she was a toddler. This park caters for a range of ages & now has a new park for older children / teenagers.

In the summer months this is extremely busy and has a wonderfully large splash park for the children to enjoy.

Toilets are the only let down - otherwise it'd be a 5* review. You have to pay to use the toilets & they aren't very well maintained.

We took our 18 month old grandson and we were pleasantly surprised at the variety of facilities to suit a child of this age. It was ony £1 to enter a safe enclosure with many ride on toys for him to play on. The water playpark would be wonderful in warm weather and free.
