“Really nice little restaurant”

We sat upstairs on a sunny day, it was lovely up there. The service was great- I think a girl called Jessica served us and she was really nice! Food was yummy! Recommended defiantly!

“Hidden Gem! ”
Reviewed July 22, 2014 via mobile

Cracking place, me & some workmates had a meal there & we were pleasantly surprised with how nice the food was considering how cheap the menu is.. This place is a hidden gem & you have to visit if you're in Morcambe you won't be disappointed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Great Food, Friendly Staff, Gorgeous View.....”
Reviewed July 17, 2014

Went for a meal on Thursday night, we have only previously been here for drinks and sat downstairs.

This time we sat in the restaurant upstairs. The guy who showed us to our table was really friendly he also took our order, I believe he was the assistant manager.

We ordered for starters Morecambe Bay potted shrimps and soup, the soup wasn't on the menu, we asked and they had it :-) Hubby said the soup was superb, chicken and veg. Potted shrimps were superb too.

We both ordered rib-eye steak, one medium well, one medium rare, and they were cooked perfectly. They came with home made chips, mushrooms, cooked whole tomato and onion rings. I am sometimes put off having steak out of home, as nobody can cook it just the way you like it, but hats off to the chef, fabulous...

Topped off with a nice bottle of Chardonnay.

The menu looks pretty varied, from deli boards and pizzas to main meal options of fish and chips, pies, chicken and steak etc. The pizzas looked delicious, might have the Morecambe Bay Special on our next visit.

I would recommend the Palatine in a heartbeat and we will visit again...:-) :-)

Reviewed July 14, 2014

Had mums 70th here recently and staff couldnt have been more accomodating..they helped us decorate upstairs room with our own flowers and balloons..it already has a lovely set of fairy lights up and a panoramic view of the bay so would suit any occasion. Meal was delicious so compliments to the chef.
