“A Breath Of Fresh Air....”
Reviewed March 20, 2011

We visited Morecambe Bay which to be honest looked like the place was on its last dying breath...the local pubs looked real rough and as for Restaurants there wasnt any open after 6.30pm so when we found the Palatine Bar it saved us.......Great Beers,Ciders and Wines...reasonably priced food which was very nice presented well and tasted home made especially the Lancashire hotpot....Pizzas also available again freshly made great for a snack during the day.
Service was good and the locals also looked like they were pleased to find this place........

“The palatine has a very extensive range...”
Reviewed August 22, 2010

The palatine has a very extensive range of world beers. The food is very reasonably priced and very tasty. All home made and served quickly. The staff are all friendly and on hand to aid you in deciding which of the many beers to try. (especially ben) The atmosphere is also friendly and very laid back. The perfect place to while away an afternoon. Highly recommended!

“Great place to enjoy quality food & beer with a relaxed atmosphere”
Reviewed August 11, 2010

Great range of world beers, both bottled & on draught. Lots of choice of cask ales from the local brewer (lancaster breweries) all served with the 'cask marque' of approval. The bar-man Ben has an amazing knowledge of the beers available if you are feeling adventurous!
Food is good, fresh & modestly priced, including specials on the bar blackboard. The homemade pizza's are exceptionally good & yet modestly priced.
If you sit upstairs you can enjoy the view & outlook across the bay too.
The perfect place to while away a few hours in Morecambe

Very good real ale (kept very well) and huge pizza (for £6) right on the sea front. Service was quick and friendly. A real gem.
