My husband and I stayed one night as we had seen the hotel on TV when it was being renovated and always wanted to stay there. We weren't disappointed. We were early and our room wasn't ready but the receptionist was very helpful, that was the theme throughout our stay, all the staff were very friendly. We had lunch in the bar and dinner in the restaurant and we couldn't fault the food at all, even breakfast was fantastic. The setting overlooking Morecambe Bay was spectacular even in dull weather.
The room we had was very clean and well fitted out with quirky a design and the extra money spent for a sea view was worth it. The whole hotel has been very well renovated.
The hotel is very pricey but worth going as a special treat, we will certainly go back one day.
