“Spacious clean accomodation in a great location”
Reviewed June 6, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

The bungalow was clean, spacious and in a great location (you can walk into Saundersfoot very easily). The owners were very friendly and helpful providing ideas of places to go and eat etc before we got there.

“Clean, well equipped bungalow in great location”
Reviewed August 26, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Bungalow is very spacious and easily accommodated 4 adults and 3 children. Was clean throughout, furnished to a good standard and well equipped. Kids loved having wii games console to play on when the weather wasn't great. Has a fantastic large private garden too. Location is excellent - within walking distance of Saundersfoot but far away to be quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again - great for families who take grandparents on holiday too.

“Perfect for Extended Family”
Reviewed April 12, 2013 for a stay in April 2013

We booked this property for a week with our 2 children (6 & 1) and grandparents. We hadn't booked specifically for the adaptability of the property, but as it turned out, this bungalow is perfect for the extended family with the grandparents taking the bedroom and ensure off the living room ad us sharing the family at broom with the kids.
The kitchen is home from home and the living room is perfect for the larger group. It is obvious that the owners have spent a lot if time and money improving this property and it is great as a result. The garden is nice and one with plenty of parking, and just a short walk into Saundersfoot.
We booked through Powells who struggled with our split payment and although key collection was easy, it might have been nice to include a map if the offuce n Saundersfoot, identifying where the office was and where to park. Would happily recommend and return!

“A great family break in restful suroundings”

We, (family of 4 with 2 small children age 3 and 5), have just had a lovely short break at Castle View in Saundersfoot, (near Tenby), A surprisingly spacious bungalow with plenty of room for us with an ample number of bedrooms, to many infact, so next time we plan for the grandparents to join us as one of the bedrooms is ideally placed on the other side of the property (away from the children) with its own ensuite. The living space is large enough for the children to have room to spread out, and there is a smart kitchen and a large dinning area just off the living room. Bathrooms are clean and fresh and easy to use with the children. The garden also has uninterupted views of the local country side. The bungalow is placed on a quiet road with parking on the drive and within easy walking reach of town, (if you walk up the road adjacent to the property and follow it all the way to the end there is a path that takes you to the school where you simply can walk down the hill into town and the beach),

Saundersfoot is a small seaside town with a sandy large beach to play on, even in the winter we had great fun exploring the rock pools, and walking not only the length of the beach along the very jurasic looking coast line, (lovely views), but also took advantage of some of the local walks too. We also loved walking on Tenby beach and exploring the town, too many places to choose from to eat! But our favourite food venue was eating fish and chips watching the fishing boats in the harbour. (Sunday roast at the Captains Locker in Saundersfoot is good too). There is a handy Tesco and Co op in Saundersfoot.

The Tourist information is awash with things to do esspecially with small children and we will definetly be booking to stay in the summer, with Folly Farm top of the list. (We visited last year and it was a really fabulous day out, and with our tickets stamped we could have visited again that week for half price! (collect your tesco vouchers and get a great day out for a fraction of the price).

For us this was a lovely restful family break and we will definalty be booking to stay at Castle View again.

Liked best: Being in easy reach of the beach and the town, but in a quiet and restful location.
Liked least: The weather... but there are still loads to do when it rains, like Folly Farm.
