My husband and I recently stayed for 1 night in a top category room at St.Brides.
It is one of the most expensive hotels in the area, but was well worth it - the staff and service was friendly and professional in all areas, the room had a fantastic view over the harbour and a fabulous bathroom.

I'd recommend the scones for afternoon tea - they would huge, warm and lovely. Dinner & breakfast were both enjoyable.

We had a day in the spa which was one of the best I've ever experienced. You must try the infinity plunge pool which is heated and sits outside of the spa building with amazing views.
The staff were again excellent, very professional but also very helpful and friendly.

We live locally to this hotel and will be booking in again for a few breaks over the winter.

We stayed here for three nights and really can't recommend it highly enough. The hotel and spa are wonderful; but the staff are even better! From when we arrived to when we left we were treated like royalty; every single member of staff was friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. You are personally greeted by everyone as you pass through the hotel which really makes you feel welcome and is such a breath of fresh air!

We had a good non sea view room to start; this was lovely. Smallish but cosy and with a super little balcony with chairs and table. Decor and furnishings tastefully done with beautiful artwork. We had a small problem with a leaking gutter outside the room which woke us up early...not a major problem, but the hotel staff were most apologetic and moved us to an upgraded room which had a fabulous sea view and balcony overlooking the bay. We could have stayed on that balcony watching the boats and people on the beach for ever!

The spa is great; a session here is complementary if you have a treatment. We both had massages which were excellent. The vitality room and infinity pool are absolutely fab with a great view over the bay; so relaxing! The staff here are fantastic too.

Breakfast is taken in the Cliffe restaurant, overlooking the bay with again that view to die for! We thought the breakfast had a very good selection of hot and cold options; the bacon in particular is excellent- probably the best I have ever had. The scrambled egg is very differently done with herbs, and tastes wonderful. We had two evening meals and enjoyed both; we found the starters were fairly huge so just shared one on the second night which allowed room for pudding! (The creme brulee was fab!)

Saundersfoot village is old fashioned and that is its charm; walking along the beach, people watching etc in a calm, friendly and quiet place with lovely views; what more can you ask for to relax? Children seemed to love using the beach for games and sandcastle building etc...in other words old fashioned family beach fun. We visited nearby Tenby and found that to be similarly charming if a bit bigger with more shops and things to do; the tourist information places in both Saundersfoot and Tenby are useful places to visit too.

We can only thank again the wonderful staff at the St Bride's hotel for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable; we will definately go back, and have already recommended to friends and family.

We had a fabulous romantic break here, blowing the budget for a full on pamper after having baby No.2 in January. I am weary of high price boutique hotels, which in my experience often look pretty but don't deliver on service and atmosphere.

St Brides rekindled my faith. Fantastic, warm and intelligent service, from the discreet maitre'd through to the chirpy and skilled spa therapists. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. The decor was uplifting and spotless, we had a better room with no sea view, which was perfect. A massive bed, with plenty of space and a cavernous bath for me, plus a great shower for him outdoors.

The spa is heavenly, I was suspicious of anything called a 'vitality suite', but it certainly was relaxing. There's enough to do in there, with widgets and gizmos - like the rainforest mist shower and rubbing crushed ice onto your steamed limbs- to keep you entertained as you unwittingly wind down. And then there's the infinity pool, which gives a fab vantage to watch the amazing tide race in, followed by the local yotties bobbing about in the harbour below.

The food in the restaurant was scrummy, though I agree with a previous review that the breakfast was a bit lacking. The fruit salad was pre-packed stuff, the juices were concentrate and the danishes were nothing special. I also spotted the porridge with comb honey for an extra £3 and had to wonder at the value.

All in all, the service made up for the additional costs and I would love to return again.

We stayed here for 3 nights in August. The weather was terrible, torrential rain!! Thank goodness the hotel was good!

Fantastic views from some rooms and the restaurant over the bay, harbour and Saundersfoot itself. The hotel itself has a very modern and had a relaxed feel about it. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room we had was well equipped.

The food in the restaurant was quite good and reasonably priced with the exception of the vegetarian options which were not particularly good and well overpriced for what they were.

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were very friendly helpful and attentive.

We have just returned from a few days at the St Brides Hotel and Spa.
From the moment we arrived the service was excellant. The girls on the reception were very informative, as we arrived early we left our bags and went for a walk into town and when the room was ready the recption called us on our mobile to let us know.
The room was very clean, contemporary and had everything you need for a comfortable stay.
we ate in the restaurant on the first night, great food and a lovely view over the bay and out to sea. relaxed in the bar afterwards and all the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
We had booked a treatment at the Spa, which was very professional and relaxing, great views from the infinity pool and the relax room. We enjoyed it so much we booked a treatment each for the next day.
Shopping is limited in Saundersfoot, a few nice gift shops, old fashioned sweet shop and great cake shop. Narberth nearby has a lovely range of small boutiques, gift galleries and coffee shops.
we would highly recommend this hotel and have already started planning our next visit.
