We have visited Vine Cottage several times over the past 2 years - our problem is that we didn't find it years ago! David and Helen are two of the nicest people we know and our dog, Holly, is made most welcome. The house is spotless, which proves you don't need to sacrifice quality to holiday with your dog. The gardens are beautiful and the location is perfect. Can't wait to visit again in May.

Just arrived back from a weekend here with my wife Jan. The accommodation was great for us and our collie, we enjoyed the large garden, the room was lovely, and breakfast did us proud. We'd certainly stay here again when we are back this way.

Our first visit to South Wales and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Saundersfoot is quiet but close to larger towns and close to some beautiful walks and beaches. David and Helen at Vine Cottage were very welcoming and gave us some invaluable advice for places to see in the area. Their guest house is very comfortable and cosy and they obviously do their utmost to make your stay an enjoyable one. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was something to be looked forward to each morning and they even offered to cook an evening meal for you if given some advance notice in the morning. As it happened, we did not need to take this up as we found some good places to eat out in Saundersfoot and nearby, but it is very good to have this option available. Well done David and Helen, we had a lovely time and hope to see you again soon.

Wonderful welcome - tea and biscuits in the fantastic garden - big comfy room, internet connection, spotlessly clean bathroom, dog made to feel welcome (breakfast sausage for him!) delicious breakfast freshly cooked to order (best bacon we've had in years), and my favourite - fresh milk for the bedroom for proper tea/coffee - altogether 5 stars from us! Great location too for touring the area. Thoroughly enjoyed coming back from the pub in the evening and sitting in the delightful garden while the dog had his last run around of the day. We have already recommended to family, and we would definately stay here again if we came back to Pembrokeshire. Thank you Helen and David

We chose this B&B as we wanted 4-star accommodation with parking in the Saundersfoot area. I only realised this was a Christian, dog-friendly establishment after booking so was a little apprehensive, as we fit into neither of these categories, however we were made very welcome by the resident proprietors, David and Helen. They were very friendly and professional and every morning David showed great interest in where we had been the previous day and also made suggestions for various places to visit.

This B&B made a great base for touring Pembrokeshire. Our bedroom and ensuite bathroom were spacious, spotless and there was plenty of storage, with complimentary toiletries, Rocky chocolate biscuits and freeview TV and there was loads of safe parking at the back of the property . After reading the previous review, I would point out that we also stayed in a room with windows facing the road at the front but never heard the traffic due to the good quality double glazing. On the whole I found the atmosphere very relaxing. There are bus stops very near to the B&B for anyone wishing to travel to Tenby or elsewhere by public transport.

I also enjoyed the scrambled eggs (would also recommend having the Scottish smoked salmon along with the eggs!) and, as I can't face a full breakfast, appreciated the yogurts and plentiful supply of toast and marmalade (and also the fruit tea). My husband did find the sausages rather odd but I see from their website that the sausages are made locally and have a very low salt content so they're probably an acquired taste!

So yes, to sum up, I highly recommend this B&B as a base for anyone wishing to visit this beautiful part of Wales.

This is a lovely dog friendly b & b on the outskirts of Saundersfoot, it has a large beautiful garden and a paddock for the dog. The breakfast is really yummy - we had scrambled egg with salmon and smoked haddock with poached egg. The owners are friendly and even save a sausuage for your dog! Our room was nicely decorated and very clean and the bed was comfy. The only thing I would say is that we stayed in the bedroom at the front of the house and the main road can be noisy sometimes but I epect that the rooms at the back are quiet. Overal this is a great b & b for a relaxing trip in a lovely part of South Wales
