We loved the quality of the guest house in every way, great food, friendly service and assistance from the owner and the family, including the friendly doggies. The best part was the dreamy sleeping and bedding - so comfortable and cozy and pretty to the senses too!
The guest house was so close to the famed Stirling castle that we walked up to the gates in just a few minutes from the doors of Auchyle on Drip Road. We had a very good tour guide who spoke of the history of the castle and the bridge over the river hear Drip Road. The only bridge over the river to get to the castle in olden days. Enjoy your stay near history in comfort, go on walks to enjoy the neighboring area. A nice round of golf is around back of the castle walk not far from the guest house and can be enjoyed if planned in advance.

Room Tip: Rooms are in home and in outer buildings. We preferred the large windows of the outer lodge (old bu...

Good location. Nice room. Everything that you need was available. Hospitable. The breakfast was excellent, with a lot of choices. Certainly a must. We did like to stay at this BXB in Stirling .

Warm Scottish hospitality

Hello, 4 friends spent one night at this B&B in Stirling. We had problems with our car the day we arrived and we phoned Mandi twice to tell her that we will be late because of the car. When we arrived at 22.30p.m, she welcomed us in a very bad way and very unpleasant.
Our two rooms were very small and they had no chair or something to put a simple bag.
We were not very confortable and didn' feel welcomed, it was a pity!

My hubby and I stayed at Auchyle Guest House during a recent trip to Edinburgh. We had been on the road all day and were having trouble finding any vacancies in Stirling, so we were relieved with Mandi from Auchyle Guest House said they had a spare double room.

Mandi made us welcome from the moment she opened the front door. I told her that I was starving, so she offered to drive us into town (only two minutes away) to save us having to walk. We took her up on the offer and were sitting in a cosy restaurant within minutes! I couldn't believe our luck!

The guest house had central heating and lovely furnishings. We also had our own bathroom and TV. Mandi and her staff made us a hot breakfast the following morning at the time of our choosing. This was a welcome change from some B&Bs who give you a small window in which to eat. We accidentally left a small laptop part in the room which Mandi kindly searched the room for after we left and posted to us via first-class. You're unlikely to find warmer hospitality than this.

What more can I say, this has got to be one of the friendliest guest houses I have ever stayed in. The rooms were spotless, the food excellent and Mandi and Tom could not do enough for my friend and I. We were dropping our children at Stirling university and needed a guest house for the night. Ourselves and our families will be definitely booking a return visit, thank you for a lovely welcome and stay

This is a very well positioned B&B in Stirling with good value for your money. Even if the rooms are smallish, they are very nice, clean and cozy. The breakfast is excellent, with a lot of choices - it gives you all the energy you need for a long day's trip in beautiful Stirling. And the service that comes with the breakfast is very pleasant as well, be it any member of the family that runs this place. If we go back to Stirling, we'll stay at this place for sure.

We found this quest house after a crazy day with our 8 month old. We were stressed and starving! Maggie, Tom, Harry, & Haggis made us welcome. The room was lovely, very clean, & the location was great- short walk to the Sainburys for re-enforcements. Breakfast was huge and delicious- left us full all day. They have parking in back and on the street & even let us borrow their washer for the little guys clothes!

We had such a great time we came back through on out way to England and stayed 2 nights just to relax!

I cannot say enough great things about this place

Room Tip: The room across from the dining room was my favourite!
