“Quiet but sadly littered”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

Lovely waterfall but there had obviously been a group of teens camping there and they had left broken bottles and debris all over the area. Raw meat had been left trampled into the ground and burnt tents and clothing left. This beautiful area clearly needs to be policed so that it isn't spoiled by thoughtless louts.

“Tropical Paradise in Scotland”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

It's getting 4 stars rather than 5 because there aren't any facilities there. It's easy to get to from the small car park.

It's a small but stunning location north of Loch Lomond and south of Crianlarich. If you can get there when it's quiet (weekdays when kids are at school) and find a nice spot to sit down, you won't find a nicer place for relaxing in the whole country.

You can take a dip, or relax on the rocks. The whole thing is like a Herbal Essences advert.

“hidden gem”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

If you are driving from Stirling to fort William it is conveniently on the way just off A82.Just a short walk of 0.6 km and you can see the beautiful water fall.

“great view for a short walk”
Reviewed May 16, 2012

entrancing waterfall into a deep pool at the end of a short trail from a car park off the Loch Lomond west road.

good for picnics, ideal for those less able to go distances to see natural features like this close up.Used to be a hidden gem but there are now touristy signs, so expect it to get busier.
