I have always lived in the area but had never been to Briarland's as I always thought it was just strawberry picking. Well I was so wrong. Went one day to find out more and since then we go nearly every week. Great Cafe serving nice homecooked snacks and cakes, lots of space with toys, slides indoors for the kiddies to play on even if it is raining. SO much for them to do outside as well as animals. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Cannot say any more except we love it.

Excellent family day out, loads to do for our 6 year old. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Recommend the karts and giant hay bale that kids can climb on.

... especially as us oldies get in free with a paying child! I can see it can work out expensive for a young family though - you need to stay a few hours to get full value.

But on a dry day we have no problems with this - our grandchildren (we usually go with four little girls aged 3 to 8) all get a lot out of it. The bouncy pillows seem to be favourite, followed by the pedal-go-karts, but there's lots of other climbing, sliding, swinging etc activities, as well as the animals. More interaction with the animals would be good, but I think that's a "Health and Safety" issue ...

Pity the Maize Maze is no more, but our kids had a great time just running around in the long grass (more like a jungle for the wee ones).

Not tried the food, just the coffee to wash down a picnic, and that's fine. But we like the style of the new "food barn", and the food looks OK.

Had my daughters birthday party there in July. It was the only day of our beautiful summer that rained! However the staff did not let us down. They kept the kids totally occupied and the rain did not put them off! They put on loads of activities for them and even got them outside playing! The party Host was a young guy who is officially the best party host I have ever seen. He was totally in control of the whole day, nothing was too much trouble for him and really looked after us. We will definitely be having her birthday there again next year.
