“Relaxed tapas”
Reviewed November 19, 2012

We went with friends who live near this restaurant. We were led to the basement part of the restaurant and were shown to our table by a head waiter who was very relaxed and happy to accommodate.
The menus were on Gate-fold album covers, which I thought was a conversation piece.
We ordered the tapas selection for us all. The dishes arrived in stages rather than all at one which was great and meant that the food was always served hot.
The dishes I tried before becoming too full, were excellent in particular the meat balls.
At no point were we rushed ... it was relaxed and comfortable.

“Let the tapas do the talking!”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

W sought out this restaurant on a word of mouth recommendation and it was a stop off between Glasgow and Aberdeen. It was well worth the detour as it extended the taste of the Mediterranean beyond our recent holiday for one more night.

We opted for a selection of tapas and meze dishes to share and as well as the usual dolmades, albondigas and patatas bravas we had Kolokithokeftedes which are crispy little courgette patties with mint, onion and feta, Spanakopita which is a mix of spinach and feta in filo pastry, and a small kebab type disk comprising choritzo, a greek sausage, pepper and haloumi cheese.

Six dishes between two was more than enough and including a glass of wine cost #27. The service was attentive despite there being a party going on, we were offered a jug of water at no charge unlike most places these day and the flavours produced in each dish were unique and savoury.

We'll be back.

“as good as ever”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

Love this restaurant and a breath of fresh air in Stirling. Much better than new restaurants
such as The Kitchin which lack atmosphere. Friendly staff and great food delivered with no-one trying to rush you out of the door.
