Well worth a visit to this attraction, for couples and for families of any age. Unlike previous years when the baboons were loose in the park and any trip through would undoubtably result in damage to your car, they have now been removed from open access and it is very safe to travel through in your car. Unless of course you accidently run over a sleeping lion.
The park is very well run and you are guaranteed to see the animals. Near the centre of the park is ample parking and many different attractions for all ages. Also at this area there are many outlets for food and gifts and all at reasonable prices.
In all, as I did with my grandchildren, you can spend a whole day here very easily, especially on nice days.
There are plenty of car parking spaces with no extra cost incurred.
The only point of warning is the boat trip to Monkey Island. The actual trip is rather nice and farly short in length however there is no guarantee you will actually see the chimps. They have a large enclosure and can hide very easily. On our trip we did not see a single chimp on the island. This was the only down point of the whole day as our grandchildren were very excited to see the chimps on their island, which unfortunately didn't happen.
Is the whole experience worthwhile, definately and worth the entrance fee. On a lovely day as we had, we spent the entire day there.

We had a great day. Two adults and two very small people who just love their animals. Excellent range of things to do - driving safari, walking and viewing platforms, boat trip to chimpanzee island, sea lion display, pedalos, slides and climbing frames, birds of prey display etc. Some of the rides require tokens to be purchased but we didn't bother with any of them although this might be an issue with older children.
We spent about four and a half hours there and could have stayed longer. It is worth getting there fairly soon after opening, later in the day it felt like half of Glasgow was there although this did add to the diversity of wildlife. Some animals (the lions) are fed in the morning and then sleep for the bulk of the day, if you want to see them being active get there promptly.
The food offer isn't the best so it is worth taking a picnic and just buying a coffee, you can barbecue if you want too.
Overall very good indeed and heartily recommended if you have children who are into animals. Much better than the zoo!

This place exceeded all expectations. We stayed all day until the park was closing and even though it was a Sunday and the park was busy it was not overcrowded due to the vast number of things to do. Booking online beforehand saved a couple of pounds too and our toddler got in for free. You can BBQ your own food and there is plenty of picnic space. Food in the restaurant was not fantastic but not awful. Planning to return again next week.

We have been to the Safari Park on a good number of occasions, and was pleased to see on our most recent visit there are now two tigers again / bears again, although the number of lions appeared to be significantly less. There is plenty to do and see in the Park, although it is sadly let down by the absolutely shocking standard of food available. Prior to the last two visits, the outlet for real beef burgers with plenty of healthy salad was always open, but now only the indoor restaurant is open, and the food is fit only for the bucket. Definitely worth a visit, but be warned, bring your own food!

After arriving at 10:45 we spent the whole day here, it's great to see that they add new things in every year i.e. new animals and enclosure for them. From funfair rides for the wee ones to animal shows from Sea Lions and also Birds of Prey you really get your money's worth in Blair Drummond far better than the Zoo. Only bad.thing to point out from the day that staff weren't prompt at opening certain parts of the park in time for opening i.e. face painting and doughnut shop to name a few. All in all its a fantastic day out.
