This family Café is well established over many years and is situated on the Causewayhead roundabout.
Its location makes parking not too easy as there is no car patk. It is generally possible to park on the Alloa road along the side of the play park. This is safe and convenient.
The atmosphere is still friendly and family like with a good choice of reasonabaly priced foods from Pasta to Pizzas, Lasagne and Cannelloni to FIsh and Chips which are very good. Nice choice of desserts, beware of the Sticky Chocolate Pudding and the Apple Tart they are both decadent (especially with ice cream) ; This is good family eating at affordable prices.
My great reservation is the fact the cooks and chef are handling all foods in the kitchen with bare hands. To be in keeping with public health standards they should be wearing gloves when handling all foods. This may seem a small detail but today one must be aware of how quickly contamination and passing on of germs can occur. The café ought ot be aware the customer can see directly into the kitchens where the pizzas are being prepared.
