Description: Filling Station coast to coast American restaurant and bar, has been created by a team of people who genuinely love good quality food, drinks and good times! No doubt you're thinking, well doesn't everybody want that? It's true many people do, but we have genuinely struggled to find somewhere that actually delivers all of these things. So our solution was simple - let's do it ourselves, the result is Filling Station.

Have previously eaten in the restuarant. Has been years since had been. Had been in town shopping and was the closest restuarant in sight. Were given a warm welcome. Place was nicely decorated but cold. Good choice of food. When we gave our order we were asked if would like garlic bread or onion rings. My girlfriend agreed to garlic bread, also asked if we could have cheese on the gatlic bread. We never recieved this. Starter was ok, we ordered 5oz steak with chips as main dish. The steak if can call it that resembled strips of odd pieces of beef. Not sirloin anyway! Was quite fatty and chewy. Not what we both expected as we regularly have ordered this at other eaterie's. We were not told about the sauces or asked if would like any. I had to call the waitress 'Emma' over to ask to which I recieved a rude response. A arrogant point at the end of table as if I was meant to know they were there! Not great customer service! And was not as if the place was busy enough to excuse it. After that we quickly ate the main & asked for bill. Leaving as quick as we could. A very dissappointing time at restuarant, will definately not be eating here again!! The waitress should be put through customer service training as that is no way to speak to paying customers that arent aware of the surroundings. If you offer a selection of sauces then you should notify the customer of these at time of which main course is put onto their table.

I live near the filling station to go in once every couple of weeks - it's not going to blow your socks off but it's an ok place to eat and the staff are always really nice.

Went for lunch on Sunday with my daughter. Place was quiet and cold. menu is limited but the staff were friendly and cheerful. The food was alright. The credit card machines weren't working (and we were told they had not been working on the previous evening).

We have eaten at Filling Station in Stirling on a number of occasions and will continue to do so. There is a good choice of food which is always well-cooked. The staff are cheery and helpful, without being annoyingly so! Nothing is too much trouble. My only criticism would be to get rid of that awful Stella 4 and replace it with the original Stella - everybody's favourite lager!

Located just off the main street the Filling Station is an ideal location to re-charge at lunch. Probably for that reason it is always fairly busy.

But saying that even when fairly quiet by restaurant standards the staff always seem to be rushed off their feet and it can take an age to get a table, then the same wait again to get an order taken.

It has a really nice atmosphere and some of the memorabilia on the walls are fantastic. You get plenty of time to check it out fully anyway.

Food is good once it eventually turns up, if a little on the small side for an American restaurant. Prices seem a bit steep with all the negative aspects taken into account.
