....... A lovely hotel grew! Yes, we had booked in online a few weeks before for an overnight stay at this hotel which also features Melissa Restaurant. As a wheelchair user, we were on the ground floor, room 43. It was clean, had all the basics required and a comfortable mattress. The rates are very reasonable and the staff do all they can to accommodate your needs.
The evening meal was delicious and the staff very friendly.
We had to leave on the 7:05 minibus so went to breakfast around 6:15. We hadn't been advised that prior to 7am it was continental breakfast only. This consisted only of fruit juice a choice of 3 cereals and 2 rounds of toast each. This was fine for me but my husband would have liked a cooked breakfast. When he queried whether he would be offered a cooked breakfast, the waitress explained the policy but had a word with the cook who generously cooked a lovely breakfast for my husband. We five this a 5* rating all round. The mini bus dropped us off with plenty of time to spare and he too was polite and helpful.More
