Too much sauce, not enough curry! A fine place for the lads, I guess, but not what I was hoping for.

We ate here for 1st time on a very busy Sat night (4 of us, hubby & I with Ma & Partner). Waited a long while for food but soaked up the cobra & atmosphere so not a problem! Lovely chick tikka massalla, coconut rice & onion bhajis. My mum frequents regularly n we'd go again if over that way.

I've eaten here a number of times and always found the food to be consistent (a good sign) and tasty. The service is always quick and efficient (no need to wave your arms around to catch someone's attention).

It always seems to be busy (another good sign) with a mix of people.

Worth considering if you are out with friends. It also makes a welcome change from the usual expensive hotel fare if you are staying over the night before a flight as it's only a short cab ride from Gatwick North or South terminals.

If you find yourself in or around Horley in Surrey and like Indian food, then the Curry Inn is well worth a try. The service is good and the restaurant is comfortable. The food we had was above average for this type of cuisine and if we lived locally we would use it on a regular basis. We had a bottle of the House Red, one starter between us, a king prawn dish, a chicken dish, a vegetable dish and rice, followed by a mango and pappaya ice cream sweet, all for 24 pounds per head, which, in this day and age, is quite reasonable.

We even had a Brandy and a Baileys, on the house before leaving from the very convenient parking bays in front of the restaurant.

We had eaten here several years ago and were very pleased so we were looking forward to returning. The food was acceptable but not special at all. The staff was very friendly but very inattentive. Maybe it was a bad night, but we were disappointed. Will definitely look for something else next time.
