“Good Coffee”
Review of Comestibles

Comestibles
Ranked #2 of 47 Restaurants in Midhurst
Certificate of Excellence
Price range: $3 - $12
Description: A lovely delicatessen and cafe situated in the old part of town. All our fillings, cakes, quiche, soups and salads are made here on site by Ryan, Karen and Beverley. We serve very good coffee, using beans from Edgecumbes in Arundel and more importantly, all our milk is local organic from Goodwood. We open at 8am for breakfast and coffee, and have a good range of homemade options for lunch. Everything is available to eat-in or for take-away. We also have a nice range of jams and chutneys, chocolates, cheese biscuits, gift tins etc on the shelves.

It does not look much from the outside, but the food is really first class. Very pleased indeed to find this place.

Had the most delicious lunch here, beautifully made sandwiches with fresh granary bread with (me) smoked salmon, avocado and cream cheese, (him) Stilton cheese and walnuts , both lovingly made with quality ingredients. Tempted by lots of deli foodstuffs and left treating ourselves, please go; you will not be disappointed.

Nice food with a wide range of fillings for sandwiches, baguettes, and jacket potatoes plus daily specials and lovely soups. Have to wait a while when busy but worth it.
