We stayed here for two nights and we loved it. Beautiful spot and in such a lovely part of the world. The room is cosy and has everything you need including a good selection of teas and filter coffee. Lovely comfy bed. Great breakfast and also good food at the local pub which is just about walkable after being out all day.
Our hosts were very welcoming and a good source of local information. We would be happy to stay again if in the area.

We first went to this B&B in 2010 and we loved it so much that we returned for my birthday last week. It is a one room B&B which means it is very quiet and intimate. Judith & Robert are very friendly and accomodating without being intrusive. They even provided us with crockery and lit a candle on my bday so that we could have a romantic evening in with our picnic! We are seen walkers and there are numerous routes you can take right from their front door and the scenery is beautiful. The room itself is very cozy and it is on the ground floor with trees and shrubs surrounding the room so it seems as if you are in the depths of the forest when you are lying in bed! There is a vestuble connecting the bedroom with the bathroom and so it seems like your own little apartment. We really cannot fault it and we would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect B and B. Just what we needed after a long ride on the SDW. Judith and Robert are very welcoming. Log fire and tea to warm us up having arrived using the excellent supplied directions. The room has everything you need and a great breakfast in the morning. We were able to store bikes in the garage and Judith filled our water - so a perfect mountain bikers stop. The Unicorn pub down the road is excellent for dinner and a pint - thanks for booking this for us.

Thanks for a great stay - Ben and Hannah

My husband and I traveled from the U.S. to attend the wedding of dear friends and to our delight and good luck we were able to stay at Little Hoyle. It is everything a stay in the English countryside should be: a lovely English garden tended by Robert, a good breakfast including Judy's exquisite homemade jams and marmalades, locally grown food all served with care on lovely china, conversation when we wanted it, time to ourselves when we required it, good humor with our rather flexible schedule and the most beautiful bird songs for natural ambiance to round out the experience. The bedroom is small but adequate and the ensuite shower is very nice. Even the towels and sheets are first rate. The closet was large enough to hold our dress and casual clothes as well as our suitcases. And there is wireless internet to boot. We hope we'll be able to return one day. Thank you Judy and Robert for a lovely time. --The Fischers

My partner and I stayed for just one night during a two day walk on the South Downs Way. We were a little late arriving due to having missed our path (the sign to Heyshott had been broken off the sign-post on the South Downs Way) and therefore called ahead to let Judith know that we would be headed straight to the local pub to eat. As were finishing up the landlady came over to let us know that Judith had called the pub to check on our safe arrival and arranged for the landlady to drive us to our lodgings as soon as we were ready to go!
On arrival at Little Hoyle we received a warm welcome. The room had all possible comforts including lovely toiletries in the en-suite, tea, coffee and biscuits.
After a good night's rest we were treated to a marvellous breakfast of hearty local produce - an ideal set-up for the day and Judith had thoughtfully provided some alternatives to cater for my specific dietary requirements (no yeast, no wheat, no dairy). Whilst we ate (and watched a pair of pheasants wander about the garden), Judith prepared us a lovely packed lunch (sandwiches and delicious home-made flapjack for my partner, and a salad for me).
The walk down from and up to the South Downs Way from Little Hoyle is very steep and for the physically strong but the welcome and stay was well worth it.

We stayed at Little Hoyle B&B over the weekend as we were in Midhurst for a wedding. Little Hoyle is a great find - in a little hamlet with a very good local pub (The Unicorn). The room is snug but extremely comfortable - great shower and all the extras you need. The breakfast was superb, some would say fit for kings. The views from the house are lovely too. We do recommend staying here. The only weakness is the taxi cost - it was about £18 one way from there to Midhurst. Perhaps we were ripped off, but that added a fair amount on to the bill. Oh, and book your taxis in advance if you need them! Last thing to note: the owners are lovely, welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Room Tip: One room in the house is used for B&B

We were so sorry that our guests had such trouble finding an available taxi. it is probable that the fare was so high because the driver had to come from Chichester.... Our local firm charges about £8.00. Normally we would have helped out with a lift in these circumstances, but had family committments that made this difficult.
Midhurst does not have a large number of taxis at the best of times, and one of the larger firms has recently folded - so there is even more need to book in advance!!
it is so good to hear that our guests have enjoyed their stay - that's our aim!

We stayed here because we were going to a wedding in nearby Graffham. The owner, Judith, was flexible in our arrival time which allowed us to drop off our bags and get changed before the wedding. She then gave us a lift to the church which was extremely helpful and recommended a very reliable taxi firm to collect us from the reception. The bathroom was lovely and the room itself was extremely comfortable which meant we slept very very well. In the morning, the breakfast was at a time to suit us and was very tasty. We would definitely recommend staying here.
