“Handy, nice interior, average room but value for money”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2013

I stayed here for one night on my own. The building was pretty impressive for the money I was paying, albeit not in the most glamorous of areas. I really liked the interior, which has loads of character. My room was a small, clean single, with ensuite (behind a curtain, which makes sense given the space). I didn't eat breakfast as I was in a hurry, so I can't comment, but the owner seemed pretty disappointed that I wasn't eating which is a sign (to me) of someone who's proud of what they're offering.

This place is very convenient if you have to catch an early flight. It's only a short distance from the boring modern hotels that line the airport perimeter road but the experience is very different. This a converted private residence in what is left of a charming village, with two attractive pubs and a church. I had a very comfortable room, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. Service was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was generous and tasty, taken in a dining room overlooking the garden. There are attractive prints on the walls and elegant furniture all over the house. In-room wifi was included and very fast. Airport noise was noticeable during the day but not inconvenient, and the traffic dies down late at night and there was no noise at all all night. The only thing wrong with this place if you are driving is that's it's so hard to find. There are no signs anywhere pointing you in the right direction, and only a tiny sign with the name above the door when you finally get there. Other than that, this is a far better choice than the modern alternatives a little closer to the airport.

Room Tip: If you are driving, make sure you get detailed directions in advance. This place is very hard to fin...

We stayed two nights, the room was OK, the bathroom very small, the owner not so nice, and the woman who helped with breakfast downright scary. Wireless didn't work, and not that close to the tube station at the airport. Oh well, one or two places on a three week stay aren't going to be perfect.

My wife and I together with our greyhound recently stayed at Harmondsworth Hall. We had a fantastic time and were made welcome by all the management and staff. Lovely room and hearty breakfasts. Our dog Bo was well catered for during our stay and got on well with Archie.
If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the vicinity of Heathrow then look no further than Harmondsworth Hall. Hopefully we will return sometime in the future. Evening meals are not served at Harmondsworth Hall but are available in the two public houses in the village and nearby Sipson.

We recently stayed twice. The first time we stayed because we were picking up a guest at the airport early in the morning. The second time we stayed was hen we dropped the guest off at the airport. We have two small dogs and the staff made us and our dogs very welcome. We have stayed at hotels where the dog friendly rooms have many mementos from previous dogs, we could not detect the presence of any previous dogs in either of the rooms we occupied. The food was very good and the maintenance man even made coffee and toast for our guest who had a very early start. Locked and fenced off street parking gives you peace of mind. Towels and sheets are above average standard, unexpected extras such as wine glasses are found in each room. The single room our guest slept in was very small but had everything he needed and the price was right. The first visit coincided with very hot weather and the staff brought us not one but two fans to keep us cool. Although we slept with the windows wide open on both visits airport noise was very minimal. This is a great place to stay and offers stunning value for money.

Room Tip: Garden room was a very pleasant room.

We have stayed here twice. We book a night here before our flight out of Heathrow.
Rooms are large, airy, clean & tidy. The En-suites are adequate for your needs. (not as spacious as the rooms-but not needed to be)
Lovely listed building with great character. Breakfasts plentiful with prompt service.
We also book our car in for the holiday duration as works out much cheaper than the airport parking.
