Food is always the best here, but expect a large bill.. Wine is really expensive so we don't order it here. £20 average cheap bottle of wine...!!! Good for a special occassion but couldn't afford it other then that.

We - like many TA reviewers - are regular visitors to the Water Palace, and we can honestly say we have never had a bad meal or experience here.

We decided to try the Sunday buffet, and at £11.90 per person, it's great value. I managed to get stuck in the starter selection, and after four starters I could only just about manage one main course. A good selection of dishes, well cooked, hot and regularly replenished. Great value for money.

A word for the TA administrators - this restaurant is actually in Yiewsley, and other restaurants in the area are listed under West Drayton rather than the general 'Middlesex' area where TA lists the Water Palace. If I were looking for a restaurant in this area, I would look in West Drayton rather than Middlesex. Can this be corrected? Then more people may find this place.

I have eaten at this restaurant regularly for the last 15 years and have never been disappointed.
The food is fantastic, especially the seafood, and the batter is always light and crispy. The manageress, Catherine, is always willing to recommend dishes according to your taste preferences. The staff are always friendly, attentive, but never overbearing.
This restaurant also attracts a number of Chinese diners, which is also a good sign in my opinion. So be sure therefore to try something different from the 'Chinese' menu if you're feeling more adventurous - you won't be disappointed.
If I had to find something to complain about (and that's difficult) it's that the white wine is often served too chilled.

We have been visiting this restaurant occasionally over the last couple of years and it never disappoints us in both the food and service which is a tribute to the family that manage the place.
We keep going back with the reassurance of good food and service and we don't hesitate in taking our family and friends to Water Palace for fine chinese food.
Keep up the good service and well prepared chinese food!!
I just wish there were more like this restaurant in Cambridge....

Ate here with colleagues who recommended the restaurant and could not fin fault with the menu/service/food quality - all excellent! Will definitely eat here again.
