This is the Eriki in the Crown Plaza. We had to go thru a security check to get to eat at the restaurant ( first time for me and my friends) and we were staying in the Crown Plaza. I really dont know how a non hotel guest will get to eat in this restaurant.

Food was great. Must try are is the Sarson Lamb Chops. Amritsari Jhinga was good but 3 little shrimps served did not do justice to the price asked for.

We were served by a waitress who was in hurry to get home ( and we were not past the closing time) she just wanted us out. She literally pulled away our plates while we were eating. Virender or Vijendar at the Bar was great and did his best to smoothen out the situation. He acted curteously and professionally.

I regularly stay at the Crowne Plaza Hetahrow and have eaten at Eriki several times. The food is always excellent, much better than your average indian restaurant. Great flavours and real authentic food.
The service is good, though usually too quick, poppadums, starter and main are all served in less than 45mins which i find quite rushed.
It's quite pricey too, typically a couple of beers and 2 courses costs me around £50 with sundries. They do a kids eat free promotion which looks good value though.
The atmosphere can be varied (though i've only ever been mid week), it's usually quite cold too so take a jacket.

We spent a layover at Crowne Plaza and had dinner at Eriki. It was EXCELLENT. We had the prawns to begin, lamb chops and chicken biryani. The waitress suggested we include a side of red curry sauce with dinner and it was delicious. I have tried many Indian restaurants and this was by far the best.

Service was informed and responsive. We didn't feel rushed and there was always someone nearby if we needed anything. A little pricy, but not considering the quality of the food. We had the ice cream desserts (see photo).

A must try!

The welcome here was first class with friendly and accommodating staff. We ordered starters and mains and all were a significant cut above, so you should expect something a lot more sophisticated than your usual Tikka Masala, although tomput it in perspective this is no 'Benares'. Naans were light and fresh, scallops fresh and tasty and indian sauces were rich and full of flavour. The only gripe was value, as each curry portion was small for upwards of £13+ and with rice as an extra, plus £7-9 starter prices for similarly small portions, a meal for three with a drink or two each soon hit £140+, which for a curry is a lot of money, even if it was as good as this one. The restaurant environment is great with thick chunky furniture and relatively private tables, so all in all good, just a shame about the pricing.
