Stayed one night, arrived dog tired, got free Internet for 24 hours (ask for lounge access for 1 device), fast check in, complementary business suite for printing out boarding passes and breakfast included too. So used to getting a bargain room and then being charged for endless add ons. Only complaint would be the pillows but was so tired didn't stop me sleeping, and lovely pillow spray of essential oils a lovely touch.

well worth the price and all the facilities are included. If you are airline staff even better, a long weekend is all you need. the food and drinks tops it all.swimming pool, gym and steam room, wet and dry and jacuzzi.

Room Tip: club rooms are best and give you access to to club lounge free.

Stayed one night at the Crowne as part of a Legoland package. Turned out to be best part of the package!
Although the hotel looks a bit shabby from the outside, it appears refurbished inside with a great quad room we had and excellent facilities. Really enjoyed use of the pool and fitness centre (came back early from Legoland to make the most of this) and the restaurants were good if a bit pricey.
Clean rooms and hotel in general. Excellent staff. Great breakfast to set us up for the rest of the day at Legoland.
Highly recommend this hotel as a package choice.

We had an unscheduled one night stopover in London before flying home to New Zealand, we chose Crowne Plaza Hotel near Heathrow as we didn't want to be in the city. Very comfortable hotel and large, many rooms. The room was a good size and the outlook was fine, over the carpark but there were a number of trees so not just a carpark. Food was okay although the breakfast was a little on the pricey side, but usual for this standard of hotel. Friendly check in and check out and even rang once we had settled into our room to make sure we were okay with it.

Room Tip: I believe the rooms were all similar to ours, of a good size and various outlooks, able to partially open the sliding door for some fresh air, some door shitting noise from guests in next room who kept going in and out, but otherwise a very comfortable hotel.

We were so looking forward to staying after reading good reviews and the fact it is supposed to be 4plus stars. We arrived tired and ready to be refreshed after our coach party arrived at the hotel only to be told the rooms were not yet allocated. After a 30 minute wait we were given our room key cards. Rooms clean and well designed, pleased with room. We were told our coach party could have dinner at 8:15pm. After freshening up we all went down for dinner. Greeted by restaurant manager a young Asian women who greeted us and asked who we were after hearing we were with coach party directed us to table and said she would bring us water!!!we found the way she dismissed us disappointing as we required wine! Did she assume as we were with coach party we would not be wishing to purchase wine? Her manner is very rude and very un welcoming. After we tried to get other staffs attention we eventually was able to read wine list and order wine from a helpful staff member. Wine ordered soup eaten and left for some time with dirty dishes on table. We were definitely being ignored. There were many staff dashing around but none really doing anything. After sometime when waiter passed by I asked if that was the manager pointing to the young woman and the waiter said yes would you like to talk to her? To which I replied no not really she is not very good at all, to which he replied he did not know as it was only his second day working here. We have frequented many 4 star hotels including Hilton & Marriott, and was really treated the way you would expect from these sorts of hotels where staff are very welcoming and helpful not like our experience at Crown Plaza. We also observed that the actually restaurant was not as clean as it should have been. The food we had was a set menu but felt short of being edible, the roost turkey was dry as a bone, we had to ask for the stuffing and the vegetables were definitely raw, please do not say al dente they were raw! We did not venture to the desserts and took our self off to bar for drink. again the service was awful waging to be served, plenty of staff but no one doing very much. When we found seats and a spare table again this table and surrounding area was dirty with child's on the floor , not cleaned or tidied up after last guests. Second round of drinks again arrived a wrong order with lime cordial in the G&T, 'What.', The staff in the restaurant and bar area need re-training and the young woman who was managing the restaurant was 'NOT!', managing the restaurant , she needs a lesson in manners and not to assume just because we came with a coach party we are working class and uncouth, she nearly missed out on us buying wine and in the bar if the staff were more efficient we would have ordered more drinks! Just to say my husband does know his stuff in regard to managing restaurants and hotels as he used to manage himself and he was more than disgusted with the service. Some positives the rooms and the cleanliness was very good but these staff were let down by their other work colleagues.
