We had booked a room at the hotel for one night - for transit- as our connecting flight was on the next day.
The staff are very friendly- but that is the only good thing about the hotel. We were first given a room without an AC. When we complained, they switched rooms. The bathroom was filthy. The white shower curtain had black edges- it was a trial to have a shower without touching the curtain. The fixtures were all old and stained. Door hinges of the cupboards were held in place with a piece of paper wedged in.
The food was okay.

I booked a "pot luck" room for one night with Holidayextras and never again.

Our hotel was to be the Holiday Inn Sipson Road. On arrival the reception area was dull and gloomy with lots of dark furniture. Even though there was a/c there was a bodily smell.

Our room was awful with dark scratched beaten furniture. I went back to reception and asked if I could pay for an upgrade. The receptionist was very pleasant and for an extra £20 we were given a much better room.

We ate dinner in the buffet restaurant for £16.95 each and despite the fact that it was self service a service charge was added. Also tea and coffee were charged extra at £2.25 even though it was not advertised as extra. The menu outside the restaurant didn't give the impression that this would be extra. I protested and the charge was taken off.

The bar area was dark and dingy and smokey in places.

Grudgingly I have to say that it was a clean hotel for one night but there are better in the area.

We flew into Heathrow and spent the night there in order to catch a 6AM flight. We thought the Holiday Inn Drayton was a great choice. You can get there from the airport itself on the city bus and it is FREE. When asking for information, stick to your guns: tell them you want the city bus, not the Hotel Hopper. It is something like the #258. This will save you about $8 per person. The bus back is harder as the stop is a ways away, but if you are hearty, you can go for it and it runs 24/7. We took a cab, though. The hotel itself is very nice. Booking ahead gets you a good rate.

What can I say, nothing except it's awful. You feel like your checking into the most anonymous edifice. Staff could not care less, rooms aren’t that great - Don't pay the rack rate ! Food is just crap, re heated ready prepared rubbish. If you can find something small and local nearby – plenty of other decent hotels around – Holiday Inn in Edn is the same

A mediocre overnight experience, but I guess I was not expectng much near Heathrow. No fast checkin for lowly Prioirity Club members. Booked into a family room, the sofa bed was not made up and we had to call housekeeping for bedding materials. My daughter slept fitfully through the night and it was only in the morning that we discovered a couple of broken slats in the sofa bed. Small room. Small bath. On the plus side, the sound-proofing was excellent, comfy sofas in the lounge whilst waiting for our car to the terminal. And we booked well in advance and got the room very cheap.

We stayed here while husband was on a business trip. Location was good for him in relation to work, but bad for me, the tourist trying to get into the city several days.

Room service was way overpriced for what you get. A plate of cheese was $15 and was 4 measly strips of cheese! A $22 burnt pizza? Internet in your room for a whopping $30 per day!

We requested wake up calls twice, and they never came.

Agree with others, the 'king' bed was a joke, why not call it 2 twins?

We would not stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and left our car for the entire stay, we had not done this before but we reassured by the hotel that this was fine,

The room was fine, had tea/coffee making facillities with plenty of teabags, sat tv and all the usual requirements, the brekfast was on offer during out stay from £15 to £10 per person, which we did take as our flight was 9 hours and we all know what airplane food is like!!!!.

there is the Heathrow Hoppa bus which takes you to and from the airport, it costs £4 each way, which is expensive considering it only goes 3 miles up the road, but the driver will load/unload your luggage, be sure to ask him where he will pick you up, we landed at terminal 3 and our pick up point was bus stop 11-13, the bus is H1, for Holiday M4J4, be careful as there are 3 other HI hotels at Heathrow,

We Collected our Car and it had only done 1 mile, so we were very pleased, no damage all in all a good hotel, a success.
