“No problem hotel”

This is a modern hotel with professional, friendly staff. The rooms and hotel as a whole are remarkably quiet, except of course for the lobby in the morning. My room was clean and the bathroom immaculate. This is a good place to stay near Heathrow for a night or two. There are two relatively minor negatives. One is the usual over-priced meals in the hotel. For dinner, there's a pub, the George, about 5 minutes walk away (go to the entrance to the car park, turn left, and the pub is on the left. The other is that unless you have a car, you are stuck with the Heathrow Hopper bus at 4.50 pounds per person each way to get to and from the airport. I prefer to stay at one of the hotels on the Bath Road where you can catch a free bus into and out of the airport.

Room Tip: The soundproofing on the room windows is so good that you do not hear any noise from planes.

Stayed here before going back to the USA.. Bed was very hard after sleeping on a De Vere hotel bed for a week. We used priority points to book the room,not realising breakfast not included. Could have paid 15 pounds each. Had a look at the food and declined, all the food looked dry and overcooked.The seats in the lounge were terrible,too long in the seat.WiFi was Crap.The Irish pub was the best thing about this hotel.

Room Tip: I don't have one........

I stayed here for a couple of days while in London on business. This hotel has all of the amenities needed for a business traveler including a fitness center, bar, restaurant, and plenty of working/lounging space. The staff is fairly courteous, typical for your UK customer service standards. Not quite as friendly as some places in the US, but nicer than some other places that I've stayed in the UK. The rooms are pretty spacious and have a small fridge which is a nice extra however you have to ask for an iron and board as they aren't automatically stocked in the room. The bed was quite large and decently comfortable, but it sits a little lower than your typical hotel bed. The breakfast buffet is pretty basic with your typical UK fare of hot breakfast items as well as cold meats, cheese, and cereals. As far as the fitness center, there are about 10+ cardio machines as well as some free weights and a few cable machines, enough to get a decent workout. There is a shuttle that comes at least every 25 minutes and runs back and forth from Heathrow. The fare is $4.50 pounds one way, but be sure to have exact change or purchase a ticket beforehand in the lobby as the driver doesn't have change (and will NOT wait for you to get change, yes that happened to me). Overall the hotel offered plenty for the price.

I have been visiting this hotel in particular, for the last 20 Years. I know it very well. During the last Year i stayer there appx 20 nigHts or more. What i realized is, prices have increased a lot, and all the rest decreased. As airport hotel the amount of people of all world are there. They should clean the rooms better and disinfections. This is not happening and they change the bedsheets not every day. It happened to me to post pone my departure and got for more then 4 days the same bedsheets . On top as platinum member, i shoul receive a chiocolate barr as well as some water every day. This depend how much the cleaning people like chiocolate........many of them like it..... Breakfast is not good. I think that a muslim person cannot choose the best sausage as well foreigner waiters knows well english breakfast... (I am sorry if said anything about muslim Who may offend, just an example...). On top of all as platinum member, instead of been rewarded, the policy of the company now is so bad, in terms of night staying and promotions, that you can be a good customer, spend 60 or 100 nigHts and you are rewarded in paying more and get 2 to 3 nigHts free. ( bad policy if you want to keep your old customers)...... Better to go trivago , get the nearest hotel, spend much less, and be more happy. This what i did. I could not accept this kind of quality for the money they are asking for.. As an old traveller, i would advise you also to watch carefully the credit card payments. This is a real rip off.. I am european, as i live in few european country. So, if you pay ( say with VISA or else.) your card is in euros. What many hotel do, also this one, they asked do you like to pay in euros?. Do not do it. You undersign a appx 11% increase in your bill, as they apply Huge rate of exchange. Then, if you have signed, and realize it, they can cancel the transaction, and do it in pound sterlin or else. This is even better(for them) they get another 11%. Of course is not going all to the hotel but,( as good brother)is partial splitted between all involved. The last one, Look if is a vat invoice or not. In Italy they like to do avoid vat, but also in other countries...... I am not complaining about for getting any benefit. I work and know what is the value of the money. When i see something wrong i do not like it. Hope my advice will be of any help. Ps. Sometimes you Finder the rates cheaper by trivago or booking.com or others..... Enjoj.

Was on a flight that had to make an emergency landing in London and the airline put everyone up at this Holiday Inn. What could have been a horrible nightmare due to the lack of coordination of the airline, the Holiday Inn went above and beyond to make us comfortable. I have to say that one of the front desk employees, Bee, was amazing and made sure that we were all able to get back to the airport and even helped us to find out our rescheduled flights while the airport offices were closed. He worked nonstop trying to appease so many irate customers and always remained pleasant.
My room was clean and comfortable. Great shower!

During a canceled flight, 214 people were bused to this hotel. People were irate to say the least. Bee is wonderful, courteous and pleasant. He was so helpful even while being yelled at by so many. Holiday inn should promote him ASAP!

We booked the hotel with 8 day car parking for Heathrow and stayed here on the night of our return this made this a very good deal. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant and we had a good rest before our journey home the next day. The only complaint we found with our room was that the door stop did not allow the door to open fully and this made it hard to enter with cases.
Service in the bar was good but the drinks were very expensive.
