Went to this restaurant for Sunday dim sum with my family. The portion were so small and it wasn't very appetising. We order beef and pepper black bean sauce ho fun and it had 5 tinny bites of beef with half plate of ho fun. The beef ball dumplings was the size of Chinese fish ball ( should've been size of scotch eggs. The duck and roast pork rice was stone cold, rice probably reheated in microwave for 30 seconds. 3 years ago this restaurant use to be packed with Chinese dinners having Sunday dim sum and it was very nice and tasty. Now it was 3/4 of restaurant empty. 12 months ago it was this bad, but 6 months ago it got better but now it has gone downhill again. Prices are same but portions have half and quality has drop. Food 5 out of 10 value for money 2 out of 10. It's really a shame as we use to go to this restaurant once a week with my family and spending over £100 each time. I won't be going back there in near future!!!

“T5 Heathrow, Chinese Fayre”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

Pleasant decor, service and food excellent although a little pricy.
Although it is on the main A4 road iinto London it is not convenient to get to from the terminals and if you are staying at any of the hotels on Bath Road, they have their own restaurants.
It looked interesting and as we were staying at T5 Premier Inn close by, it was only a short walk.

Delicious, authentic and value for money.

If staying in this area I would recommend it.

It is very authentic and frequented by many people.

Best value restaurant in the area, with good service, location and selection!

“One of the better Chinese restaurants near LHR”
Reviewed March 16, 2013 via mobile

A regular customer at the restaurant, having eaten there several times with the family.

What I like:
The service is consistently fast and the staff attentive, though sometimes they feel slightly detached, almost put upon.
The food is reason we like to eat at the LHK. Starting with some spicy frogs legs, scallops, satay chicken, and my favourite, the salt and chilli bakes ribs, all were well prepared and presented.
For mains we tend to go for the crispy chilli beef, a sizzling dish (normally the chicken in black bean sauce and we love the char sui. The crispy noodles with vegetables, beef ho fun and the Singapore noodles make great accompaniments.

Not so good:
Already mentioned the friendliness of service can be 'variable', guess it depends on the number of sittings the staff have. When busy the small car park quickly fills up.
Portion sizes could be a little larger, particularly since you're paying a fair amount.

Overall:
Nice ambience, relaxed with lovely decor, the seafood tanks are a nice touch, reminiscent of restaurants in SEA. Great water feature in the front.

I could not find a fault with this restaurant. We were served quickly & all of the waitresses / waiters were polite & curtious. The food was brilliant, the crispy beef I have had in a long time & not too pricey. £ 33.90 for three courses & two beers very good value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant.
