“Superb. Except Breakfast”
Reviewed May 26, 2014 via mobile

Recently stated in this hotel for 2 nights between a trip to Wembley and visiting family.

The staff were amazing and the hotel superb.

However we went for breakfast on the Sunday am and the service was not really that great. The girl in the restaurant was on her own and seemed to be very very busy. We ended up canceling our breakfast.

HOWEVER. CREDIT where it's due. On the Monday we decided to go for breakfast again and the same girl produced what can only be described as AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING JOB. Maybe we were unlucky to be part of a busy breakfast serving ( as the hotel was booked out all weekend ). But all in all an amazingly friendly place that cannot do enough for you at any time. Superb service

Hi, Stayed here for 3 nights whilst working in Southall. The hotel is situated just on the edge of a trading estate, right next to a busy street. The hotel its self is new, only opened in November 2013, so new looking. A bit of a faff. We parked in their small car park, then at reception were asked to pay £10 per car per night (not told this when booking) There is a large car park right next door which only £20 per night, so use this. The rooms were very nicely laid out with a modern feel. Good size bed and nice bathroom. Had abit of a problem with the pillows. They were "Gel pillows" however they had gone abit hard and were very uncomfortable. The noise from the main road was also abit much. The breakfast was served in a small restaurant behind the reception area. It wasn't to bad, with a good selection to suite all. Also my room wasn't made up on the last night either. So not to bad, and could be a good base with a little improvement.

I stayed at the Airlink Hotel for 1 night whilst on a business trip to Heathrow. I usually go for the Premier Inn, but read the reviews for the Airlink Hotel and gave it a try.
It's a very nice hotel, small and modern with a small private car park (£10 per night charge). The only problem is the location, it's situated on a busy main road which is at the top end of an industrial estate (not the prettiest) of locations.
Forgetting the location, the hotel is very clean and modern and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. Great night sleep in a comfy bed.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back, so you don't here the traffic noise from the busy main road.

Handy for Heathrow and price reasonable. Limited on site secure parking which you have to pay £10. Rooms are not soundproof so you get traffic noise from the busy road outside. Room clean and facilities ok.

Location wise, Good if you want to have a nose round Matalan and B&M stores as they are on the same road, also only a 2 min walk to a road of mini convenience stores and a very trashy Wetherspoons pub.
Hotel itself feels very self contained almost prison like as it's narrow corridors and dark huge wooden doors can be a bit overpowering.

The bed was as hard as a rock! No Joke! It felt like a slab of concrete, and the pillow was like clay, my back hurts today, I cannot understand how a bed can feels so uncomfortable, but to be fair and honest my partner thought it was nice and firm and had no problem with it!! I do like a soft mattress but this would put me off staying here again as i didn't sleep well.

The room was ok if you like dark red carpet and windows so high up that you have to stand on the chair to actually look out of the window!! This all adds to the chloasma phobic feeling of this hotel.
Although the hotel has a small restaurant bar, we were unable to use this because of a private function and although we were told we could use it, we felt like we were gate crashing a private party full of people who had probably hired this venue for a function, and there was nowhere to sit so we went to get a drink from one of the mini marts and borrowed a hotel glass. So that was rather annoying that we couldn't use the bar as we specifically wanted a hotel with this facility.

Good points: really good flat screen tv
Amazing shower
Lovely, if not a bit on the small side, bathroom, nice modern decor, but needs a hook on the back of door really as there is only 1 hook on the wall for towels.

Stayed here for one night as I was working locally in the area. Staff were friendly and effcient, room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated, same with the bathroom. My room was very quiet, flat screen tv, minifridge, tea & coffee items as you would expect. I didn't have breakfast so not able to comment on that. Had a meal in the restaurant in the evening, again staff very pleasant. They were only serving food from the indian section of the menu so might not suit everyone, but fine for me. Excellent value for the price we paid through Expedia.

It was a nice place to sleep before returning the rental car and flying out the next morning, and not wanting to deal with a hotel further in London (& traffic etc). It wasn't too obvious to get from the hotel to Heathrow -- glad I had my phone GPS/Satnav to guide me. I had a good deal online (£50) and was a little annoyed to show up and they charge £10 to park in their parking lot for the night. It seemed a bit sneaky to me as who expects to have to pay for parking at a hotel that surely isn't anywhere near a premium location. So I took off "1 star" for that....
