My husband and I stayed one night on 26th Dec. last year. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was huge and comfortable. It was impressive. They upgraded the room when we checked in, so it was specious as well. After a long-hour flight, that was what we really needed.
The stuff was friendly and helpful. One of the stuff compared several possibilities and suggested us the best way to Paddington station when I asked him. We went as he had suggested, and got there smoothly and even had time to buy lunch before getting on the train.
One thing I didn't like was temperature in a restauant. It was too cold to have a meal in the morning. Tea turned to be lukewarm pretty quickly. However, the food was good and choice was wide range. That was a good point about the restaurant. If you need some comforts after a tiresome flight, this will be a place. We were very happy to stay there.

We tend to spend the night before any flight out of Heathrow at this hotel. They offer a great package of free parking (8 or 15 nights) but better still, if you book a deluxe room, they throw in a private chauffeur to drive you to whichever terminal you are departing from, and then on your return, they deliver your car back to the short term carpark. It saves so much time rather than waiting on a taxi or the dreaded hoppa bus which seems to take ages to arrive and then tours the entire airport carparks before getting to yours. It is particulary great if you have a lot of luggage or skis bags etc as you can simply collect your stuff at the baggage reclaim and then wheel your trolley to the carpart and load stuff directly into your car.

Hotel is currently also offering a package of 2 for 1 dining in their restaurant the night of your stay too.

We have tried most of the hotels around Heathrow but this one is now our hotel of choice as the add-on services make it cost effective and a pleasant start/end to your holiday

We had booked to fly with BA from terminal 5 to Miami, and as it was a special holiday for us, (we were flying out to get married) we decided that we didn't mind splashing out more than normal on a better quality airport hotel. (Previously we have booked budget options when flying from Gatwick, that include parking, as for 1 night we felt it as all that was neccesary). When we came across the Radisson Edwardian, we were pleasantly surprised. We had stayed at the Radisson SAS at Stanstead last year and had found it to be beautiful, but at the higher end of prices for airport hotels, but the Edwardian at Heathrow was one of the cheaper options. (For 1 night stay and 15 days parking, it was less than £20 more than the Easy Hotel!!)

From the moment we entered the hotel, everything was looked after. All our baggage taken directly to our room for us, a very smooth and easy check in, car parked easily. And WOW what a beautiful room, so comfortable, carpet so deep you sank in to it! Our booking included 2 for 1 meal vouchers. Wonderful food, and wonderful drink, again at not overinflated prices.

The only downside was trying to get served in the sports bar, service was somewhat slow, but a small downside in an otherwise wonderful stay. We loved it so much we have already booked to stay there again before flying from T5 in June this year!

As a side note, our room had obviously been recently renovated. The friends that we were travelling with checked in a couple of hours after us and got a slightly older style room, but it was still comfortable and of a high quality.

Once again Michael was there to make the arrival extra pleasant. Check in was fast and the room was very agreeable. We were there for two nights before returning West across the Atlantic. This gave us a day in London for a show following a ten day drive around the Midlands sightseeing and shopping. The staff here is to be commended for their high level of professionalism and wonderful humour.

I was there for an overnight stay after getting stuck at HTR.

It's okay for a night (and the free spa a fantastic if gimmicky add on), but there are certain things I expect from a hotel in that price category that hadn't been met"

- There was a dirty bathtub and no bottled soap or shampoo (the first should not even happen in budget hotels)

- there is no free shuttle and the lift (bus or cab) to the hotel is pricey despite its close distance to the airport

- VERY noisy cleaning staff in the morning. They basically kick you out of bed at 7 AM

- A/C (heating) a mess. First the room is too cold, then too hot and then, when I finally get to an agreeable temperature - AN ALARM GOES OFF (!) until I set the thermostat low again.

- they will not ask you, but put a 50 pence charity donation on your bill - again WITHOUT asking for your permission

- in the morning I step out of the shower and there is A MAN IN FRONT OF THE WINDOW cleaning the windows staring at me naked (I kid you not)

Thank you very much for your review , and i am glad that overall you enjoyed your stay .

Please accept our apologies for the incident regarding the window cleaner, and for the disturbance by our housekeeping staff . These are very much one of occourances , and I am sure should you return these would never be repeated .

With regard to our shuttle service , no Hotel at Heathrow is allowed to opperate a courtesy service anymore, as they are not given access to the airport terminals by the Airport authority . This means all hotels have to rely on the Hotel hoppa service , for which there is a charge .

Thank you once again for your feedback

We arrived on Christmas day, night. The restaurant staff were excellent and the waitress made us feel very welcome. The boys loved the chunky chips!! The car park was full but with some help we managed to find a place. A taxi was arranged to take us to Heathrow the following morning with no problem. Collecting the car on return was a simple procedure. All in all, a good hotel.

Stayed here for one night prior to a flight the next morning. Got a very good pre-pay rate. We booked two rooms, one of which was refurbished and one of which wasn't - there is a big difference between the two so I would advise anyone to specifically request a refurbished room when they check in. My partner's mother was put on a different floor from us which wasn't particularly convenient but she did get the better room and as this was a special trip for her we felt the split in floors was worth it for the benefit of the better room. Our non-refurbished room had a TV so small that it was almost impossible to view it from the bed (which was the only place to sit & view the TV). All in all very good rate so can't complain but if I'd paid a more standard rate I would have been disappointed with this room.

We also had a problem with the taxi company. I'd read the reviews on this site & so when I pre-booked the night before I specifically checked the price to T1 which I was told by the concierge was £11. When the cab arrived he was asking for passengers going to T3 and after 5 mins or so of no-one wanting a cab for T3 and our cab now being late I told him we were waiting for T1 and could he be for us. There was no-one on the concierge desk during this period (6.40am on) but the booking sheet was there and we were the only people who had ordered a cab at that time so he took us. We were then charged £12 which is only £1 difference, but there is clearly some problem here between the hotel & the cab company. I really feel they need to agree fixed rates for these journeys and stick to them. As it was, a black cab from the T1 taxi rank the previous day cost less than £10 (although there is a £10 minimum so that's what we paid).

In any case, if there are 3 or more of you don't bother with the shuttle bus to T1 as a cab is cheaper, quicker and available at a time to suit you.

Thank you very much for your kind review , we are so glad you enjoyed your stay .
We are very open about the fact that there are in the short term two room standards , but I can assure you that anyone paying a reasonable rate wouild be allocated a new room as a matter of course .
Thank you for your feedback regarding the taxi and the difference in the £1.00 being charged .
We do have fixed rates with our taxi firm , and there should therefore be no discrepancy between the price quoted and the price charged .
Sometimes human error can be a factor , but we take a very tough stance on any instances whereby there is a difference in rate , it is followed up by me personally ,and the appropriate action is taken .
Again , we are very grateful for your feedback .
